my point was, no one was just begging to see a movie about talking cars--it's... just kinda lame

Spoiler

You're treading on some real dangerous ground right there.

Besides having room for breaking character, and not necessarily having the polar opposite opinion, I wouldn't be too surprised by a chunk of that.

I'm a fan of Cut the Rope and Plants vs Zombies.  I'm sure Hearthstone is pretty good on mobile, too.

Personally, I hate mobile games that are too complex (ex: you can play Dead Space on an iPhone), with uncomfortable or over-complicated control schemes, but I also hate a lot of mobile games for being mindlessly simple.

Oh that heavy ending was my favorite moment in the entire show so far.  That ending was so much more fucked up than the rest of that entire episode, and I was not expecting it at all, so I was in hysterics.

It's in theaters now! Coming this summer...

Two brothers. In a van. And then a meteor hit. And they ran as fast as they could. From giant cat-monsters. And then a giant tornado came. And that's when things got knocked into twelfth gear...

A Mexican...armada shows up. With weapons made from to- tomatoes. And you better betch'ur bottom dollar that these two brothers know how to handle business.

In! 'Alien...Invasion Tomato Monster Mexican Armada Brothers...Who Are Just Regular Brothers Running...in a Van from an...Asteroid and All Sorts of Things: The Movie'.

Hold on! There's more. Old women are comin'! And they're also in the movie and they're gonna come...and cross...attack...these two brothers. But let's get back to the brothers because they're- they have a strong bond! You don't wanna know about it here, but I'll tell you one thing.

The Moon. It comes crashing into Earth! And whaddya do then? It's two brothers and I- and...and they're gonna...it's called 'Two Brothers' ...'Two Brothers'...it's just called 'Two Brothers'

Not really.  Mario games are colorful and cartoony, but not as frilly.  Plus, they're a bit faster paced.
Yoshi's Story has the same charm to it, though, but has some extremely cringeworthy gushy moments.

Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker, and Paper Mario are probably my favorite lively games.

It's a bunch of 12 year olds with victim complexes.  They're completely betrayed by Bungie just about every other week.  And it's pretty much always about the stupid shit, too, like an RNG gun being less special, or not being able to shill out over the beta for 2 days longer.

Winning at a challenge like that is like being the smartest kid with Down's.

The Flood / Re: Your first relationship
« on: August 11, 2015, 07:37:04 PM »
Started in high school.  Got really intolerable by the time I graduated and was about to head off to college: she went off the deep-end, got extremely possessive and jealous, to an incredibly concerning/abusive/psychotic extent.  That dragged on for another year (most of which was not spent together), and then I dumped her.

We tried being friends, but she had a habit of throwing her friends under the bus, plus once the relationship goggles are off, I noticed how little I could tolerate her: she was selfish, desperate for attention, etc...  She tried to sabotage a different relationship of mine around a year after I dumped her, so I just stopped giving her attention.

Not too big on knives, but I got a Spiderco as a gift.  The blade's about as tall as my pinky, but the thing is ridiculously sharp.

My friend just bought the HD collection, so we're going through them in chronological order.  Movement is clunky as fuck.

Reminder that this game was rated T.  You annihilate giant ant monsters and collect their heads.

The Flood / Re: Do you cook?
« on: August 06, 2015, 03:11:32 PM »
Yeah, but nothing too fancy.  Either broke college-kid kinda stuff (noodles, waffles, cheap shit you throw in an oven and leave for 20 minutes, etc...), and basic stuff you just throw on a grill (burgers, steak, chicken, etc...).

My "specialties" are tacos and chicken parm.

Beta was a ton of fun, but I reserve some room for skepticism.

Halo 4 and Reach were fun for the first week, but it's easier to enjoy broken mechanics when you're constantly winning against nothing but thumbless kids who bought it for the campaign.  Hopefully the population won't an-hero, either.
