Leftist media doesn't even need to try.  Listen to any 30 seconds of any public statement he's ever made, and you'll know he's not a serious candidate.

Plus, you're never gonna have anything to talk about with anyone who doesn't share your interests
You could say that about just about any major.

I don't think of progressivism as parading a character around like a gimmick with a special spotlight.

So my interest in this game has gone up dramatically since I found out that I can blast Take On Me from my helicopter.

Was thinking of adding one slight addition through custom playlists:

I'm not denying that autos were shit.  They were, but they had a purpose.

BR dominated CQC because of a bug (BxR).  Ignoring that, the BR was still viable at CQC, but it was not hard to get a cheap kill with a mindless CQC gun + a melee in H2 and H3: you don't remember the shitstorm on forums about how annoying auto + melee death charges were to people?

And even then, it didn't trump CQC power weapons: you're either playing against gods, or playing ass-backwards and expecting people to generously bend over, if you can't manage to rake in kills with a shotgun or sword.  And if you're missing rockets constantly, and not aiming for the feet, then you're using the gun completely wrong.

The BR's downside is how much more difficult it was/is to operate in comparison to any of the other primary weapons.  It'd be like the bloom issue x10 if the meta favored such mindless weapons with tiny skill gaps over the risk vs reward ones, because the "skill-based" gameplay would revolve around abusing inconsistent spread on an impossible-to-miss weapon with impossible-to-dodge magnet-bullets.

The best call Halo 5 made was reducing the aim assist on the AR: I think they could have taken it further, though.  The solution is in making the automatics more viable, but less braindead-friendly.

Did you play much online?  I think you'd appreciate the BR more if you did frequently.

Because it's the only fucking useful weapon in the multiplayer

There's no point picking up power weapons because the BR just out-guns literally everything

What is a skill gap?

I'd be okay with rewarding an automatic weapon that is actually hard to aim, but that's never existed: guns like the AR do the aiming for you.  Why should that be rewarded?

BRs don't outgun rocket launchers, swords, shotguns, etc... just incompetent people with rocket launchers, swords, shotguns, etc... The BR is a central weapon, but you're exaggerating how powerful it is.

nobody cares you fucking nerd. Learn a real skill.

It's why I dropped out my junior year, to go get a liberal arts degree from DeVry and a job at K-Mart.

Now if only they could bring my Rampancy emblem back.
I want my spade back.
It's BS.  Do they constantly tease spade?

Rampancy was in the Reach beta, and then they fucking removed it for no reason by launch.
Halo 4 could have at least added it back since the whole game was about rampancy.
MCC has it, and then they remove it just in time for H5.  Like what the shit?  I can never be happy.  Ever.  0/10 Halo 5 is dad.

-Enceladus is way cooler: it's a moon around Saturn that has massive water geysers that shoot into space, and is now believed to have subsurface oceans.

-Quake III has an incredibly interesting function for calculating the "fast inverse square root" of a number.  Most programs would have had to take a while (relatively) to consult a lookup table (precalculated values stored in memory) to find an answer, but this code did a bunch of space magic and memory manipulation to provide an answer that worked well, in a quick amount of time.  Funny to see that their comments are crude; same goes for MS-DOS.

Code: [Select]
float Q_rsqrt( float number )
{
long i;
float x2, y;
const float threehalfs = 1.5F;

x2 = number * 0.5F;
y  = number;
i  = * ( long * ) &y;                       // evil floating point bit level hacking
i  = 0x5f3759df - ( i >> 1 );               // what the fuck?
y  = * ( float * ) &i;
y  = y * ( threehalfs - ( x2 * y * y ) );   // 1st iteration
// y  = y * ( threehalfs - ( x2 * y * y ) );   // 2nd iteration, this can be removed

return y;
}

Did no one post the gameplay on Apex 7?  You see a lot of new stuff, like various scopes on weapons, rocket pods (different from missile pods), etc...

Isn't that on the Wii?

It's on both Wii and GC.
Is it better on the GC? Which one is the definitive version?

The only difference is that the Wii version is in mirror-world so that Link is holding his sword with his right hand, which most people are holding Wii-motes with, and aiming uses shitty motion controls.  I'd say the GC one is better.
