I was actually pretty drunk when I wrote this.
Wow so it wasn't in my head though. Drinking makes me lose Conciousness and Presence. Feel like poop mentally and emotionally. Not in a hangover way but in a I-need-to-meditate-and-get-centered-again way. Alcohol is really a shit drug smh.

The fact that (according to spoilers)
makes this season an immediate flop.
This is when I lost all interest in the season.
Spoiler The showwriters just have no idea how to write the scheming characters from the books, which is why Doran got murdered out of no where and Varys just works for Dany now. It's a shame a show that is great in every other aspect can be trash just because of the writers.
It's bad either way, but idk if they're incapable of writing scheming characters vs. self-imposed episode limit. Tying up loose ends with schemers is a guaranteed way to consolidate the plot towards having the big war with the walkers and uniting the realms or whatever.

Spoiler Because they were pictures of Dany, Jon, Dothraki, and the Dragon's head all hanging out on the set in their costumes. I just know they're gonna go the fanfic tier way from this.

Spoiler It really seems like the show-writers are tying up all the interesting sub-plots and character conflicts and emphasizing the war for the dawn 2.0
There's probably going to be some twist about why the walkers are butchering en masse, but not before the series has big action set-pieces diluting Martin's anti-war theme present throughout the series.
I hope the show writers don't actually make a conflict of good and evil in this new "war for the dawn" because Martin's world is typicallymuch more interesting and complex.
