Yep he is. It such a shame TB had a long legal battle to get to the United States to be with his wife and step son. Now this happens. I may not always agree with TB but from what I heard he is pretty stand up guy and is very open with his audience. It will be sad when Angry Joe and Jim Sterling are the foremost game critics on Youtube.

Planetside 2?
Lolno. Planetside 2 is only populated on Friday nights and weekends, and that's only on Emerald, the most populated server. The game is borderline unplayable during the off hours. I say this as someone that has over 1300 hours of game time on Planetside 2.
God, that game had so much potential. Such a waste. Especially on PS4. It was supposed to be a launch title for PS4.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. The game has such a ridiculous amount of potential it's not even funny, but basically all of it is squandered away because the devs no have clear vision and no idea what the fuck they're doing. The PS4 release actually had a chance to put the game on the right track again, but of course they botched it. It's fucking depressing, really.
The only reason I've played PS2 for so long is because there is literally no other game like it. The game really does have an excellent community. Planetside 2 may be shit most of the time, but in those moments where it's actually good, the game shines so much that it's one of the most memorable experiences in all of gaming. The expiriences I've had in other games simply do not compare to the ones I've had in Planetside 2.
Mark my words, if Planetside 2 ever had any direct competition that had a competent developer, then it would be one of the greatest games ever made. Sadly, Planetside 2 is the only game in it's genre.
Planetside 1 was fantastic. Planetside 2 was good but had a poor dev team. Maybe if Microsoft gets their hands on it (let's face it, Sony Online Developers suck sweaty balls), then it could end up being a decent game. Third time is the charm.
I'm not sure I'd trust Microsoft with it. They might decide to go the P2W route. If there's one thing that PS2 did have, it was a good F2P model. It's probably one of the least grindy F2P games. Also, both Higby and Smed are gone, and the game just got a new creative director a few weeks ago. So maybe the game will finally start to look up, or it will continue on it's slow decline. I don't plan on going back to PS2 until some actual progress is made. At this point, it's still basically the same game it was 2 years ago.

Payday seems like one of those games where if you get it later in the game's lifespan, you'll have a terrible experience because you don't know the strategy or have the best gear and no one wants to play with you because of that.
OT- Battlefield 4 is a blast. Though whether it's worth it considering what's being released in rhe next few weeks is something to consider.
The game was fine until yesterday, and I got in very late. There's plenty of useful steam guides that explained the meta, but all that is useless now since they completely fucked up the balance.

Payday 2 is dead to me now. They went and completely ruined it by adding microtransactions that are blatantly P2W. They also completely fucked up the game balance, so now my favorite weapons and build are completely fucking useless.
So what game should I play? I've been thinking of getting Rising Tide for CivBE, but I'm not sure yet.
