This has always been an extremely controversial topic in Pokemon. What is everyone's stance on it?
My personal stance is that I'm not against it, nor am I even above doing it from time to time, but I don't exactly support it either. It's one of those things that should only be done for Pokemon that would take forever to breed, require a specific move that can only be gotten from a previous gen, or for trying to get a flawless Legendary for competitive use. IMHO, it's something that should only be used as a last resort. Breeding is always better, simply because it's infinitely more satisfying to use Pokemon that you worked your ass off to breed and raise yourself.

Frame rate is easily the last thing I care about when it comes to evaluating a game.
I'd argue that FPS is pretty important. Pretty hard to play a game when it's terribly optimized. In single player games a solid 30FPS is fine, but in competitive multiplayer having a stable 60FPS can often mean life or death, so proper optimization is pretty much mandatory. Just take a look at Arkham Knight if you want to know why having good optimization is important:

16-20 back when I first played Pokemon Emerald is probably my record. My gaming sessions aren't usually that long. Usually I just have multiple 2-3 hour sessions with breaks and internet in between. I don't usually play more than 5 hours in a single sitting.

Local places tend to trounce chains imo. Got a nice carhop burger joint up here and damn are they good.
I've got a local place that blows every other burger place out of the water. Both in quality and gigantic fucking beer selection. This place's burgers are just so fucking god tier that all other burgers just aren't the same to me anymore. RR is still decent, but it doesn't hold a candle to the local place. The one thing RR does do extremely well is their tower of onion rings is pretty fucking amazing.

In all seriousness, if you ever wanna get anything done on the GTS, then you have to be the one to make the offer. Actual fair trades generally get through very quickly, hence why when you search for stuff you're always left with retarded shit like Ekans for lvl 1-10 Mewtwo or some shit. When you do get lucky enough to find a decent trade on the GTS, you have to jump on that shit pretty quickly, or else it WILL get sniped. I've actually made some scores on the GTS before. One time I actually managed to snag a legit shiny flawless 5IV Croagunk, with egg moves and everything, all for just a Tornadus. You definitely can find good trades on the GTS, it just requires immense luck and impeccable timing. Generally speaking, it's much more reliable to just deposit and make the offer yourself.
