I just realized: Why not use Ambipom instead? Same ability, same typing, same speed, better attack, and better movepool. It's pretty much a straight upgrade from Persian.

They may be buffed in SM though, since apparently Alolan forms will have different stat distributions. Also, because Alolan Meowth's lore says that it was originally bred for royalty, I think it may be plausible to assume that Alolan Persian will have a higher BST than regular Persian.
