So what is everyone's team going to be so far?

I'm probably going to go:
Robinhoot
Lycanroc-Day
Vikavolt
Salandit
Wishiwashi
Jangmo-o

Who the fuck wants to play as some fat bitch?

1596
Lolno. Females are extremely petty and bitchy. They always get into petty squabbles, hold grudges, and gossip over the most inane shit. When I was in grade school, 90% of the fights were cat fights. My mother and sister are always getting into massive bitchfests over everything. I don't think we would have even made it past the Stone Age if females were in charge.

At least dudes will throw a few punches, hash it out over a few beers, and be done with it. No emotional bitch shit involved.

OT: They aren't trying to push some globalist conspiracy bullshit, they're trying to turn the site into a hugbox because hugboxes are more profitable to advertisers because Jewtube is broke and because capitalism. So either way it's because they're fucking kikes.

Still no reason to buy moon at this point when you have faste sundoge.
Moon gets best Harambe though. As a Sunbro I'm actually pretty jealous of Oranguru, but not jealous enough that I would pass up best doggo.

Absolute worst is guaranteed to be some unfinished flash game that makes no sense at all and is probably illegal in most countries.
But generic indieshit doesn't really count though, and flash games are on the same level as mobile games, so they don't count either. A game has to get some actual publicity before it can be recognized as one of the worst games ever.

Ride to Hell: Retribution

Most of the stuff people are posting in this thread would qualify for biggest LETDOWN of the decade, not actual worst game.

I feel bad for Lycanroc's night form. He has two borderline useless abilities, bad defensive typing, and his signature move doesn't even get STAB. Only a strong HA could possibly salvage him.

Pretty meh update. Passimian is the better of the two monkeys, but I probably wouldn't have caught either of them anyway.

I disagree here. I'm actually pretty jealous of Psychic Harambe.

Do you guys think expert belt is competitively viable? It seems like it SHOULD be good on Pokémon with good coverage (and doesn't take your health like life orb)
It's pretty viable on Greninja, but I still wouldn't really use it over a Life Orb. Expert Belt is one of those items that is much more useful in single player than it is in multiplayer.

To be fair, Porygon Z is one of the few Pokemon that Hyper Beam is actually viable on. It's pretty badass as a revenge killer.
Time to breed a Porygon-Z I suppose. What would you suggest?
Porygon-Z @ Choice Specs
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest/Timid Nature
- Tri Attack/Hyper Beam
- Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt/Ice Beam
- Trick
I'd say Nasty Plot > Trick, and give it a Life Orb instead. People shit themselves when Porygon gets a boost off. I always thought Trick + Choice was kinda gimmicky.

I also prefer Download as an ability, but it's kinda tricky to use if you're just starting out.
I have no idea what either of them do. And Adaptability seems great for Hyper Beam.
Trick swaps your item with the opponent's. When used with a Choice item it can essentially shut down any Pokemon you deem as a serious threat by locking them into a single move for as long as they hold the item. Nasty Plot is the Special Attack version of Swords Dance, which is fairly self explanatory.

I suppose Nasty Plot + Life Orb could work excellently on a wallbreaking set, But Trick + Specs has the advantage of being able to completely shut down most threats.

Wait, what is that?
On 4chan, inputting the word "sage" into the e-mail field of a new post will allow you to post in a thread without bumping it, thus giving the thread less visibility. It's basically a "fuck you" to the OP without actually giving the thread more attention.

So, not something we need.
Being able to sage low effort shitposts would be pretty nice though.

Mega Altaria is also pretty great. Generally pretty easy to set up with and plays kinda like a ghetto Mega Salamence.

Guys, can anyone recommend me a good Dragonite for competitive? Just the most standard / strong one you can think of.
Dragonite @ Lum Berry/Leftovers/Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant/Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage/Dragon Claw
- Extreme Speed/Fire Punch/Roost
- Earthquake
Thanks, that sounds good. I'll go for fire punch or roost, I guess. Can't get an extremespeed Dratini in Gen VI, apparently.
You can get it as an egg move. I know my Dragonite has it, so I can quickly breed up a dratini for you if you want.
That'd be great, thanks. Does it also know Dragon Dance? Not that it's necessary. But yeah, Extremspeed Dratini was apprently only available somewhere in HG/SS. You can only get it in Gen VI through egg moves from a pokemon from that gen.
Yep, it also knows DD as well.
Well I'm still online, so if you have one it'd be much appreciated. I can give you a 5IV Bagon (Jolly / Adamant) in return, if you'd like.
Breeding it up now. Will be done in like 10 mins.
Thanks. Any preference? Jolly or Adamant?

Also, what is your preferred method of breeding? I'm just going around in circles on the Battle Resort island with a Talonflame in my party. Seems pretty damn common.
Adamant preferably.

That's exactly how I breed.

EDIT: Well looks like the Dratini I bred you is Flawless. Enjoy.
Thanks man, it's got perfect IV's in everything but special attack, which is great. I'm still gonna breed it for a 6 IV one just because.
Oh, and that Dratini I gave you had Marvel Scale on it right? I think I forgot to check the ability.

EDIT: nvm I do remember it having Marvel Scale, so you should be fine.

Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake/Fire Punch/Thunder Punch/Roost

Sorry--no Hyper Beam, but this set offers a similar (yet vastly more efficient) fuck-shit-up-with-extreme-prejudice ethos. After a single Dragon Dance, Outrage runs a truck through pretty much everything that doesn't resist it. After two Dragon Dances, you have yourself a potent wall-breaker, even capable of tearing down Pokémon that are specifically designed to tank hits. It's kinda brain-dead, but extremely satisfying nonetheless.

The Lum Berry is there to help mitigate the confusion problem--I assume you know all about Outrage's drawbacks. It can also be used to shrug off burns and paralysis, which would otherwise severely cripple your Dragonite.

Extreme Speed is amazing, because it has +2 priority--meaning it out-prioritizes moves like Aqua Jet, Bullet Punch, Sucker Punch, and Mach Punch, which are only +1. It also out-prioritizes Talonflame's Gale Wings-affected attacks like Brave Bird and Acrobatics, which is huge. On top of that, it's a solid 80 base power move that benefits highly from Dragon Dances and is resisted only by Rock, Steel, and Ghost-types.

The fourth move is up to you, but choose wisely, because they're not interchangeable. What Earthquake can hit won't necessarily work with Fire Punch, and vice-versa. It just depends on what kind of type coverage you want. Roost is probably what I'd go with, just because it's slightly unconventional, and I like keeping my Pokémon healthy. It also resets the Multi-scale effect, which is super nice to have. Just keep in mind that when a Flying-type Pokémon uses Roost, it temporarily loses its Flying-type for that turn.

EV investment is pretty straightforward. You want maximum attack and speed investment for the fastest and hardest-hitting Dragonite possible.

You're lucky that your favorite Pokémon is competitively viable.
I personally prefer Dragon Claw over Outrage due to the fact that Dragon Claw hits more consistently and Outrage leaves you very vulnerable to switch-ins. I'd also argue that Dragonite can sacrifice priority for a bit of extra coverage. Extreme Speed is really nice, but not 100% required.
