A job Theft These are both one in the same. The employee acts as a leech to their employer, and assumes extraordinary and unnecessary benefits and pay that are harmful to the company and to the economy as a whole.

Um...
Nah.
Selfish.
I'm sure people here are more than capable of defending themselves.
You would think.
>internet >can defend themselves adequately
their chances aren't great, but flukes can happen.
Those of us with sturdier frames may survive the initial hit.
Then fight on my friend. You can be the change.
Fucking make me, m8

I'm a filthy communist, so yes, I think it would be ideal if all forms of education were free. But I don't think my perfect communist society will happen until we reach a level of technological advancement where production of most goods and services is automated.

That's what happens when everyone goes to college. Before, only people who were generally wealthy went to college, now people who are poor can go to college through student loans. It's lowering the quality of the degree. Wouldn't be surprised if companies in the future will require at the minimum a Master's degree.
It was also cheaper.

I think the only way I'll ever be able to make any serious amount of money would be through writing.
Same. The story idea I have will take a long time to plan, however. And even longer to write. And even then the options aren't exactly rosy with self publishing.
Yeah, I've been working on this idea I have for a comic book or series of comic books, and I'm still trying to figure out how to make the universe work. I think if I could get the first story done though, I think I could get it published.

So if no one picks you, is that a compliment or an insult?
Both and neither at the same time.

Battlefield 4, Skyrim and a little Titanfall.
Though I haven't played much recently. I'm spending most of my free time writing.
Never thought I'd find another person also still playing skyrim
I play it on occasion, I often have big Skyrim obsession right before the winter.
Ha, the right season to play that game.
We don't really get winter in Texas, just Spring, Summer, and an exceptionally long Fall.
And all in ONE DAY! SETX has that problem big time.
I haven't seen snow in seven years. And the last time was in Russia. I think I need something to drink.

TIE CINDERBLOCKS TO YOUR FEET AND JUMP! DO IT!
Doesn't it just make it harder to jump if I weigh myself down with cinderblocks?

It's one thing to have a reserve of non-perishable food and bottled water in case of some natural disaster. It's another thing to spend your life preparing for a day that will in all likelihood never come.

Mostly Total War: Rome II.
Same. Killing entire cultures of brown people in the name of Wodenaz never gets old.
I've always preferred the Greek factions, I like both their defensive fighting style and their central location, allowing me to start a war with just about any culture I want from pretty much the start of the game. With the Suebi, I'm forced to to fight either Celts or Germans for most of the early game, unless I go far enough east to start a fight with the Nomads, which I've never enjoyed fighting.
The Greeks would be a change of pace... But given the location and my general dislike of naval combat in Total War, I'm not sure if I'd really enjoy a campaign as a them.
I rarely bother with navies outside of using them as a mobile artillery contingent to wreck coastal city garrisons from behind while my land forces get them bogged down in a phalanx scrum.
Are you at all interested in the Wrath of Sparta DLC?
I just saw that today. It's a campaign pack like Caesar in Gaul, right?
Yeah, set during the Peloponnesian war between the Delian League and Peloponnesian league.
oooh, that sounds fun.
I think it was also hinted at that the Persian Empire would have some involvement, possibly entering at some point in the campaign like the Mongols and Timurids from Medieval II: Total War.

The good thing about their location is that you have the choice for the most part (excluding Syracuse) to direct your energies in any direction you want. You've got the Romans to the west, the Easterners to the east, and if you don't like sailing you could just head north through Macedon. Are you at all interested in the Wrath of Sparta DLC?u

When the big space expansion push happens, if it ever does, things will be messy. We'll be too busy fighting with ourselves to even worry about other life forms.
Let's just say that Earth's nation-states united under one banner (a more effective and powerful UN) and started expanding. What then?
If all the nation states on Earth are to unite under a single state then I'm guessing that there would need to be some common interest that would bring them together such as competition from an outside force or a direct threat to their survival.
Not necessarily, it could occur through natural means, such as an economic union of nations that join together for one reason or another and eventually becomes the single governing entity of Earth.

Bren and Ushan are probably correct. I'm not much use in biology but i don't think blood cells can survive for long outside the complex system they've been specialized to be integral too, unless preserved
well even if the cells died, wouldn't the organic compounds that are necessary to life still stick around
The compounds necessary for life would likely be around any ways, even if you hadn't spilled blood on the planet.
