I tend to just go with herbs and spices when flavouring my meals at the stove, I'll only use a condiment if a recipe specifically calls for it.

For a cookie-cutter generic sci-fi movie cliches out the ass and plenty of DIVERSITY? You're absolutely right, which is why TFA was shit out in an extremely modest time frame. But compare that to golden-age George Lucas who had several years between IV, V, and VI, most of that wasn't filming for sure. Not to mention everyone thought it was an achievement when he finished the scripts for I and II so fast, and we know how those turned out.
It doesn't really take that long to make a script. George Lucas is a shit writer though.
