I'm waiting for everyone else to comment saying what their most anticipated games for this year are, despite not even being asked about it.
I'm not sure I really have one yet, I'd at least like to see a trailer for the next Total War before I make any decisions. Shadow of War is the only other game that so far holds my interest, but I'm being a bit tentative with that one.

The newest one, Syndicate, is pretty good.
I'd disagree with you on that, it was honestly one of the least interesting games I've played in a while.
I enjoyed it. It's a solid entry into the series, especially after Unity's failure.
Never played Unity, but I found all the characters in Syndicate to be tiresome, and the gameplay wasn't enough to get me to finish the game.
