I never participated in it. I may have posted once or twice, but I never really bothered with it. I liked smaller groups.
I remember over a period of three years, in this one group more or less abandoned by everyone else besides me and two other users, we managed to make thread with almost nine thousand posts.
I had some good chuckles in those days.
but it was small breh, like 95 percent of the members were alts.
It didn't look all that small to someone who didn't know that.

ArticleApparently you can have a merry band of adventurers instead of an army if you so choose. Adventure Ho! Worth pointing out that don’t always need to have troops in your army. Because Lords are so mighty, and can have Heroes and other Lords join them on the campaign map, you could build a party of adventurers rather than an army. This could be interesting.

You can try the Darth Mod. It's much better with all of that shit. They get slammed in Shogun 2 (or more so fly in the air lol), but Attila does it the best in a more realistic fashion I think.
Honestly, I'm to lazy to mod the Total War games prior to Shogun 2. I don't play them enough anymore to bother with it.
Same. After I've played Attila for 87 some odd hours, going back to them just hurts. Still, Medieval 2 is probably the most consistent one of the lot.
Yeah, though what I liked most about Medieval 2 was the Kingdoms expansion. Probably one of my favourite of the series.
I played it when it was all over and done with, and never really dove in the campaign. Always did MP with friends, like sieges. God sieges were perfect in that game with wall strength and what not. Attila's walls are like paper.
Yeah, I find I rarely bothr with wall defence if my enemy has even a single piece of artillery in that game, choke points are far more effective forms of defense if you have a half-way decent garrison. And I do quite miss the cannon towers from Medieval 2, those were always good fun.

Well, slam isn't the word I'd use, more like nudge. Holy crap, it's like the units are the descendants of arthritic snails or something. OT: Keep the pope happy, it'snot fun having one of your most levelled and effective family members getting burned at the stake for heresy. Try to have a lot of priests and send them to places with low Christianity, so that they'll hopefully upgrade to bishops. That way, there's a fair chance that the next pope will start off with a liking towards you. Conquering is best when it's against a non-Catholic faction, like the Byzantines or Moors, or some faction that's had a falling out with the Papacy so that you don't risk excommunication, which opens you up to the wrath of your fellow Catholic factions.

A lot of the stronger stuff isn't, like Everclear, which is essentially straight ethanol.
