Also, I'm kind of sad that the Dwemer have gone extinct. They had some cool ass shit going for them in their ruins.
I'm hopeful that the falmer wind up getting their shit back together, because I recall that being hinted at towards the end of the Dawnguard questline.

I dont recall a single quest taking place there
There's a quest given to you by an old woman; one of the Greymanes I think, that sends you on an errand to rescue one of her relatives from it.

Not a whole lot of the quests in Skyrim are particularly exciting. The only ones I could say I enjoyed were the ones involving poking around the dwarven cities and the stuff that goes on in Solstheim.
