I only relate to three of those things slightly. Feels good.

728
Just finished episode 2, can't wait to binge the rest after my class tomorrow
Nice! Episode 3 is where it starts getting really good. The end of that one is A+
the ending of episode 2 was really gripping as well...also really shocked about how superb the acting has been so far
Winona is stupidly good and I really like John's actor too.

It's outstanding. I loved the subtle character transformation with the chief.
I think all of the character development is stunning. Seamless, and none of it felt forced. I almost thought they were going to

force the dad into "le good guy" mode but then you find out he really is just the same old prick.
.

Even the development of the relationships was interesting.

I thought it was sweet how you see the obvious contrast between Elle in the lab and Elle with her friends. The way Joyce hugs her when she screams and how Lucas, despite chewing her out not long ago, is seen comforting her on the bench with the other kids. ;_;

Make sure everyone watches it so we can guarantee more seasons.

Despite the fact that it has only 30 games I'm hype. It's 60 bucks, which is a great deal, and it gives a bit of an authentic experience. Plus, this means I don't have to buy a Wii U just to play Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, etc. I wish it had Castlevania 3 though.

Good =/= influential.
Nobody said this though. The bands I listed are objectively more influential.

Elvis/Hendrix

Thelonious Monk

The Beatles didn't create a genre of music, but they managed to popularize it.
Wouldn't say Elvis, but Hendrix for sure.

I'm reading The Triumph of the West right now. I would be reading Neuromancer too, but Thriftbooks screwed up my order and I'm waiting for them to ship another copy.

Been listening to:

Voivod - Killing Technology
Slayer - South of Heaven
Gorguts - The Erosion of Sanity
Suffocation - Effigy of the Forgotten
Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger
John Coltrane - Giant Steps
Jean Sibelius - Symphony 1 and Karelia Suite
Bach - The Goldberg Variations

The Flood / Re: Congratulations Sony, you lost
« on: July 12, 2016, 11:25:42 PM »
See, I look at it like this. I fucking LOVE Slayer's first two albums, and I kinda dig South of Heaven and Reign in Blood, but their post South of Heaven albums just get worse and worse. Am I going to whine about the shit they've put out since then? Hell no. It's total shit, but Hell Awaits will always be a perfect album to me, and I can always listen to that instead.

I just don't see the point in complaining about some shitty remake when you can just say "it's shit" and watch the originals.

While I think the movie looks fucking stupid, this sperging out is getting pretty autismo.
Right? A bad movie is a bad movie, they get released all the time. The fact that everyone is SO against it makes me think there is some misogyny involved.

There are maybe three people who genuinely give a shit about the all-female cast. What's really getting people's crimson-stained panties in a knot is that it's a shitty remake of one of the most beloved films ever made. As it turns out, not many like seeing something they love get skewered for the sake of making a quick buck on the brand name alone.

Basically any misogynistic comments toward the film are made by goons hoping to get a reaction out of the bozos that honestly think misogyny is the sole reason anybody would opt not to waste their money on this film.
but who gives a shit? The old movies are going to still be there. This one will probably be forgotten in a year anyway.
