You have potential, just gotta put yourself out there ya know? I can relate with your social skill troubles, I was the same way for most of my life but once I started getting into personal fitness my self esteem got a huge boost. I still have trouble being in large groups of people I don't know, but once you get that small group of friends that share similar interests to yours it's not so hard to meet more people that way.
I appreciate the support man. I have good self esteem overall, but I fear being awkward at times and that can prevent me from talking to people. But yeah I prefer small groups of people too.

Reading books and Gardening isn't too bad, although what you can grow is dependant on what climate you live in and how mych you'd be willing to spend on it.
Gardening is actually pretty rad, but I don't think my situation is ideal for it unfortunately.

Think f a subject and research it. One day, I just suddenly thought to myself that I want to know the precise details of how a star forms and dies, in a depth you don't cover in school.
And now my search history is basically a 50/50 split of physics and space related things vs. games and stupid Internet stuff.
And I now know a lot about quantum physics. I mean, not a lot in relation to a physicist or even a student at degree level. But a lot more than what's taught in school.
Right now, I'm currently teaching myself about exotic particles and trying to get my head around fourth and fifth dimensional physics.
I think that's what most really great writers do; otherwise you end up sounding kinda dumb, like those episodes of CSI or something with computer hackers doing gymnastics on the keyboard.
