I gave up on the concept of forgiveness when I gave up on Christianity.
Maybe I shouldn't say that, because I haven't given up on it completely, but I have multiple people in my life who I have no desire to forgive, and I find there are a lot of people out there not worth forgiving at all, and ideally should not even exist in this world.
Despite this, my true limit to forgiveness is when someone shows absolutely no remorse for their actions. I draw the line there and decide to just get rid of them from my life or dismiss them as unworthy of forgiveness from anybody. Sometimes I question things unrelated to my own personal circumstances, though. I dunno if I can really hate someone like Jefferey Dahmer. Can the guy help what he did? Is he capable of controlling his impulses? I don't know, so I try to reserve absolute judgment of people in extreme cases like that.
But then I also look at people like Whitey Bulger or Stalin or someone like that and I don't see a mentally disturbed individual like Dahmer, I just see parasites who aren't worthy of life, let alone forgiveness.

Perturbator's great. Shouts out to Hotline Miami. Love Kill Bill too. Heard good things about the Dredd remake, I'll check it out. I think I saw Doomsday on tv once and liked it
Dredd isn't a remake, it's just a different movie telling a story about Dredd. It's not trying to redo the really gay Judge Dredd movie, it's just putting a Dredd comic into a film. It's amazingly good. Seriously watch it

What makes it so perfect is it is literally written and shot just like a Judge Dredd comic book. I had read a few stories before seeing the movie, and after I picked up a collection of some of the generally agreed best Dredd stories and the movie is literally just like them. There is no bullshit, there is no romantic subplot, there is no deep philosophical message, there is nothing out of character or weird, it's just another day in Mega City One for Dredd, only he's training Judge Anderson who is a rookie in this movie. He's just Dredd. He goes in there, fucks shit up, knows exactly what he's doing, and there is no bullshit. It's just Judge Dredd. Anderson has a little bit of internal conflict but it's done okay and doesn't mess with the movie at all; it's really just acknowledged and not harped on, and I think it was really done just to create a differentiation between Dredd and Anderson. It is literally an almost perfect movie. One of my favorite movies ever.
