The Flood / Re: Is drake a bad rapper?
« on: September 02, 2015, 02:07:39 PM »
I can count the number of good rappers on my two hands. Drake is not one of them. Rap in general is a heap of dogshit, and you are stupid normie scum for listening to shit like Kanye or Drake or whatever nigger is trending these days.

That's just like, your 'pinion, man. Plus it's trendy to hate on it, anyway.

I honestly have to say I didn't really like it at first, but it has grown on me.

What do you listen to that makes your bandwagon opinion so valid?

Aka:logthefuckoff

But most rap is actually shit. It's all the same, hoez and money.

And I do like some rappers, by the way.
The lyrical themes in Hip Hop are not necessarily an important aspect of the genre, as what is more important is wordplay, "flow," production, etc.

You haven't listened to "most rap" so you have no reason to make such a retarded statement as "most rap is actually shit."

He says with his Korn avatar.

New Korn is awful, man, I only like the oldschool Korn. Either way, it doesn't matter, because I'm all too aware of the hate bandwagon for Korn (and nu-metal in general).
All Korn is garbage.

Korn, the band itself, is trendy.

I only listen to field recordings of senior citizens having dry anal sex.

I don't listen to Korn for the trendiness, I listen to it for the unique sound (older stuff, remember?).
Korn is not unique.

If you only listen to music for its unique quality you should only listen to esoteric and weird genres then.

Drake is the best rapper of today, if not all time. I'd even say he's one of the best musicians of all time. Most number ones, platinum sells on all his work, and a Grammy. Not to mention he bodied meek. You can't touch him.
selling=/=good

Just look the Beatles.
Selling = people consume it, and in the entertainment industry, people constantly consuming it means it's good. People won't buy or listen to his music if he was as bad as people claim he is.
I can't believe I am replying to this obvious bait post, and I especially can't believe I am replying with the following statement, but

music is mostly subjective, so album sales do not necessarily equal higher quality of music.

Meditation.
I tried this for like 15 minutes sitting on my bed completely still, but I still moved a little. It felt like I was sitting there for a lot longer. I gotta look up a wiki how on how to do it the proper way. I decided stop because I was sitting on my bed and the soreness of my back and legs were getting to me. I was sitting cross legged with my back straight.
Dude don't bother with the whole cross leg shit. Just get comfortable. Lie down, sit, whatever. Focus on your breath (look it up if it helps you visualize it), and/or play some mellow tunes and focus on that.

"What is the last thing you do before you go to sleep?"

I check everything in my house. Everything. It's hard for me to fall asleep until I check every door, window, closet, crevice, etc. I don't know why I do this, but it's really annoying. I don't think I could live in a huge house because it would drive me insane.

"Describe your favorite type of pizza?"

Pepperoni, green pepper, olives. Maybe sausage if I'm feelin' it.

Complete absence of any pineapple.

I dunno. Mint chocolate chip ice cream probably.

"What is your biggest pet peeve?"

Probably when I type a word and I cannot seem to spell it correctly or the first letter of a sentence will refuse to capitalize.

I don't know why but it infuriates me.

"Do you prefer to take baths or showers?"

Depends entirely on the situation. If I am stressed out, I have free time, and want to relax, baths are lovely. For all other situations I take a shower.

If there is no divine creator then I am, because I only matter to myself and I have no reason to concern myself with others.

I cannot remember experiencing the pain, and I never will, so it did not actually happen as far as I'm concerned. It's MY pain, and only MY pain, so if I cannot even recall experiencing it, it essentially did not happen in the first place.
I'm actually writing a book right now on how retarded solipsism is. I'll give you a raincheck when it's finished.
Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

You're right, because when I die, if there is no afterlife, I wont remember any of it anyway, and it will be like essentially the same as if it didn't happen at all.
But it DID happen. It doesn't matter that you don't remember it. You're not the only thing that matters in the universe.
If there is no divine creator then I am, because I only matter to myself and I have no reason to concern myself with others.

Of course it would hurt, but that doesn't mean it's 'bad'. Pain is just an organisms defense system to avert destruction and consequently, death.
That makes it bad.
Not if the existence of the organism itself means nothing.
That makes it even MORE meaningful.
That's ridiculous.

The Flood / Re: There's nothing morally wrong with pushing the red button

Sure, but that doesn't mean it is objectively negative.
Then I hope you experience the most excruciating pain for the rest of your life, because it doesn't matter to you anyway.
You're right, because when I die, if there is no afterlife, I wont remember any of it anyway, and it will be like essentially the same as if it didn't happen at all.

But ultimately right now, no, I don't have a desire to feel pain, because that is my natural state. But it doesn't matter, like I said.
