I got into Jazz by listening to Kind of Blue and wanting to learn about more complicated music. I was gunna do Classical but Jazz is more fun.  Listened to Impressions by Coltrane and really got into it.

Everything else I just found myself or was exposed to as a child and don't like anymore or do but mostly for nostalgia

Out of curiosity, is there anyone other than Verb and I who choose to abstain from all drugs? I don't call myself straight edge because only UltraHomoMaximumGays use that term. The only "drug" I use is caffeine which I would rather not use but I'm not very concerned about it right now.
