I got it for the longest time and never played it. Then played it recently and beat it.
Had so much fun, but it can get annoying dying in the same part repeatedly.
Only part that really happened to me was the first time you ever truly meet the Alien (the med bay). Took me like 40 tries but once you figure out how it works it gets easier. I also didn't know where to go.

Oh btw Turkey, the encounters are NOT random. The Alien will here you make noise and will come find you. Running makes noise, combat makes noise, hitting a wall with your wrench thing makes noise. It's not random. The only thing semi-random is which hole it drops down from (on the ceiling) but that you can figure out via the radar.

Just beat the game yesterday. SICK-ASS GAME fam. Seventeen hours of pure fun. The AI was brilliant, level design was solid, the atmosphere was PERFECT, it never got boring, the sound design and music were fantastic, and it was hard as balls. Story was nothing hardcore amazing but it worked fine, and I actually got a little attached to a couple of the characters. My only complaints were how I felt some items to be pretty useless (which is why I never got the trophy for building all items), the game was a little buggy (couple pop-ins, one instance where I had to reload a save cus something didn't show up, one instance where the Alien appeared suddenly in front of me, MASSIVE framerate drop in one area), and I thought the shooting was pretty shitty (which would be fine because it is a stealth game, but you're required to Spoiler shoot some facehuggers at one point and it makes it a real hassle.) All in all it was a sick-ass game I loved it. Discuss this sick-ass game

I've never smoked and don't intend to, but enjoying a cigar on a special occasion is a completely different thing than smoking a pack if cigarettes on a daily basis.

I've been hearing their name more frequently for whatever reason and decided to give them more of a listen. SICK shit though I love it.
