I put all of this on my phone, today I listened to Andrew Hill - Point of departure, The Andrzej Trzaskowski Quintet, Grant Green - Idol Moments, Sun Ra - Lanquidity, The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Further Out,  Charles Mingus - Let My Children Hear Music

I'm just downloading a shit load of jazz albums, then listening taking in a ton of them at a time.

Yeah I'm digging it. Maybe I was confusing it with another album, I dunno. I do not remember it slaying so hard. Some of the riffs are just KILLER

Out of those, I would highly recommend the Shape of Jazz to Come, Ah Um, Astigmatic, Monk's Dream, Out To Lunch!, Let My Children Hear Music, Maiden Voyage, Meditations, Ascension, Science Fiction, and the ones you mentioned. The rest are either pretty good but (IMO) not amazing or I haven't heard them. My favorites of those though are Shape of Jazz to Come, Science FIction, Astigmatic, and probably Meditations.

Also check out Coltrane's discography honestly (I prefer his stuff post-Giant Steps, though).

Shit's fun, but I can't help but feel the atmosphere is lacking when compared to the first.

Complaints so far:
>Voiced Isaac
>Little too much of the "epic explosion badass action" segments (but they mostly let you have control within the segments so it's not all bad)
>Atmosphere isn't as appealing to me as it was in the first. Feels less lonely and terrifying. Feels more like a spooky action game.

But the gameplay was really nicely polished, and I seriously wish they had impalement in the first Dead Space because it's the most satisfying shit ever. Also it's pretty hard (playing on Survivalist) so I dig the challenge. The setting is pretty cool so far; I like seeing the city through windows and stuff, but again, it lacks the charm of the Ishimura so far. The Unitarian church and apartments are creepy and cool. Stalkers are the shit, though I feel like I can fairly easily cheap-kill them if I get into a corner and pick them off slowly.

Never got around to beating it because I rented it and my time ran out with it, but I do know the ending.

The ending is a bit weird. I don't dislike it, but it's weird.
