Considering I like Lady Gaga and her music, I feel it's best for me to stay out of this debate.
Lady GaGa is objectively great though.

I'm an authority on this like Meta is an authority on Faggotism

Music, first and foremost, should present something to the listener. A commonly held (and retarded) belief that neckbeards often hold is that it must provoke a powerful emotional response.  Stayin' Alive is a great song, despite the fact that it doesn't make me want to break down in tears of joy. It's fun, and makes me happy because of that, sure, but it's not life changing.

Good music has direction and motivation, it doesn't matter if it's good or bad in a moral sense, and it can even be amoral. M any artists have content that is incredibly shallow, which is why most Christian Rock is either garbage or mediocre.

Good music is only found when the composer and/or players have a good knowledge of the music. I do not mean a formal knowledge of theory, but every good musician has the music in his head. A musician should know what he wants from his music.

Those are the most important qualities, but music must also recognize where it comes from, and should reflect its roots. Bands like Greenday blow ass because they don't acknowledge their roots. They CAME from Punk, sure, but they don't know what the really means. People can laugh and write this off as neckbeard talk, but music is 99% cultural. The reason a "major" chord is "happy" is because culturally, that's what most people are used to it meaning.  In the case of Greenday, they are highly commercial, very pro-authority people, even though they pretend they aren't. They're shit music because they lost sight of what made them, not to mention the fact that they're shitty musicians and basically write the same songs over and over.

Music is subjective, however, in the sense that it's difficult to compare, and people have different tastes.

If you like Mozart, who is to say Mozart is any better than Charles Mingus? Nobody, they're both ridiculously talented, and you just happen to prefer Mozart.

Music is largely subjective, but music has objective qualities that people don't like to acknowledge because they're afraid to say they enjoy shit. It's okay to like shit, but it's still shit.

What makes sad music sad?
Minor chords.

Quote
Why makes upbeat music sound happy?

Major chords.

And the mix of them and chord progressions.

Just in name, though. Verbatim in Dark Souls is actually a hot milf hand-crafted by myself.

but when I boot up the game I scroll down to pick my new character, a dex only, dagger/bow using Verbatim milf.

Discuss.
Don't lie, you made a replica of Verbatim in a game so you can have some "private sessions" didn't you?
If Verby is actually a hot milf with braids in her hair like a sexy librarian then yes

The only problem is she can't make it through the tutorial
i actually am atm up to Queelag because I am skipping the depths for now because I hate the depths more than any other area in the game.

Event the first half of Blighttown is better.
Don't tell me you don't know about the water slide to take you right to the end?
Are you trying to tell me that works?
Once you enter the Depths and make it to the first Butcher with the Large Ember in the chest, break the boxes behind it. You'll drop down into the room with the large rat. Kill the rat and go to the drainage slope ("water slide"). Stay all the way on the left and hop on it. It'll take you right to the end, skipping all the Basilisk frogs and rats. Head straight and you'll be at the gates to Blighttown, head right for Gaping Dragon and up the stairs on the right to open up the shortcut to the bonfire.

No because if physics were altered, something that wasn't possible would be possible, that might not happen but you never know... We said we would never land on the moon, that it was 'impossible' but it wasn't.
