The Flood / Re: You Can Decide To Trust God, Or You Can Remain Miserable.

You can make up a meaning, but you'll forget about it later so that's stupid.
Umm, no. People don't magically forget their own set life goals you pillock.
Your goal is what you make it to be, thus giving your life meaning.

A God is in no way required to give your life meaning.
You're saying that if a brain shuts off and dies, you don't forget your whole life?

That's not what I'm saying, you fuckstick.
"Umm, no. People don't magically forget their own set life goals you pillock."

when you die you will forget everything unless there is something keeping your memories intact.

There is no point in reading the book in the first place.
yeah except life isn't just one book, you solipsistic moron
How is it not?

You cumstain.
At the risk of sounding like Sandtrap, everyone's life leaves an impact and effect on the world, no matter how grand or small it may have been.

This is actually something I believe.

Maybe not miserable, but your life has no meaning without a god.
wow
LOL are you saying your life has meaning?

You can argue, but you are objectively wrong.
Except no
Lol I've had this discussion with Door and he was also wrong so no.

Try again, kiddo.
>Door

But please explain
I don't think I need to explain unless you're an idiot, which you probably are.

But imagine you read a book, enjoy it, but after your done you forget you ever read the book and the book no longer exists.

There is no point in reading the book in the first place.
That's fucking terrible
>I can't argue with him so I'll instead say it's "fucking terrible"

dude epic :^)
No, because it's literally terrible.

Your life has whatever meaning you want it to have. You don't need a fictional character for your life to have meaning.
there is no possible meaning to life without an end goal.

Lack of a god or similar entity/presence = No end goal.

You can make up a meaning, but you'll forget about it later so that's stupid.

It doesn't necessarily have to have a deeper meaning, but if a lot of effort is put in to it, you can usually tell. Just looping the same beat/lyric over and over is where trashy pop belongs.
I feel that the "meaning" behind music is more about the difference between those guys who "wanna be deep and stuff, man" and the typically shallow motivations behind commercialized music compared to an artist who is just passionate about what they do.

what I mean by that is the former two are motivated by things other than passion, and the latter is motivated only by passion, and the latter being the one who creates good music.
