You forgot the pixies who were the second velvet underground and honestly better. Both these bands although not mainstream popular it was said that anyone who got their album ended up making a band.

He spreads himself so thin that he doesn't understand what really makes certain genres what they are. His Punk reviews are fine, and his Hip Hop reviews are okay, but beyond that his reviews are mostly drivel. He has the worst Metal reviews I've ever seen.

If you don't know who John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, or other influential artists are, but think they Beatles are the best example of music out there, you know literally nothing about anything.
There are a handful of good bands from your dads generation, because they mostly sucked dick.
