« on: August 06, 2016, 02:39:03 PM »
I'm still trying to figure out how people can maintain being over 300+ lbs.  Like, just how much crap are people eating to be like 300+ lbs?  The biggest I ever got to was 210 lbs, but I've gotten myself down to 153 lbs.  Honestly, people these days don't like to take responsibility for their actions.  This is why people always claim "muh genetics" when in reality they are just fucking pigs.  Do people not realize how easy it is to lose weight when they stop drinking soda?

The biggest I've been is 240. I really don't see how it's possible to hit 300 because I was eating absolute garbage when I was at 240 and I just stopped gaining weight.

Maybe there is something to muh genetics after all.
No, not really.  It's just people overeating.  Some researchers tested some mice that were ob/ob, meaning they had homozygous mutation that promoted obesity.  What they found was that a hypoediting of a sodium channel transcript at one specific location led to the mice overeating.  In an environment where the mice could at ad libitum, the mice became obese.  However, when the eating habits of the mice were controlled, they were a normal weight compared to normal mice under the same regimen.  In other words, fatties are lazy fucks that don't know what self-control is and want to blame other people for their faults.

Dang, but what about smoking cessation's effects on the body?
Idk, haven't really read any research papers on that stuff.

yeah because men fucked it up

look outside
I did, and I see a decently prosperous town down below.  I also see a bunch of trees, the main river, and the bridge connecting my town to the town on the other side of the river.  Pretty nice view, I must say.

I don't think people will vote crazy in. Unfortunately it looks like it's a Shiniest Turd competition.

Hillary is leagues worse than Trump, but she could hold it together by at least acting professional.
Trump has acted professional.  He mentioned that he can act presidential and did so through one of the later debates while cruz kept thrashing on him like a child.  He says he only acts the way he does when he is being attacked.
Which is unprofessional.
And yet the whole point of what he said was that Hillary can at least act professional compared to Trump, but the truth is that Trump can and has acted professionally.
He has before. In fact after Indiana primaries he was acting like he wanted to be president. It was a good shift and the so called "pivot" he's been going on about.

However the past few weeks he's done nothing but regress, and made the STUPID decision to blast the Latino Republican governor of New Mexico. You know, the one that could help him gain ground on two demographics he's absolutely doing awful in. Women and Latino's. Instead, he insults her and does none of it, and that's why I honestly think he doesn't want to win this.

I think he's in it more to make a point than anything else. I really don't think he wants to be president.
I haven't really been paying too much attention to Trump lately, so I haven't even noticed him attacking the governor of New Mexico and why it came about.  However, in regards to your last sentence, I think at first he was running for fun, but started taking it seriously when he saw becoming the nominee as a feasible goal.

The only good thing about ska is that it all sounds the same, so you only have to listen to one song to know the genre's trash.
Maybe if you listen to a generic ska-punk band, then sure, but I can give plenty of examples that aren't the exact same sound.

>"Bernie is going to win the nomination."
Bernie has done quite well considering he has had to take on the entire democratic establishment which has favored Clinton to win since day one. Besides, it's a long-shot that he'll win enough delegates for the nomination, but it's likely that he'll stop Clinton from getting enough pledged delegates and will lead to a contested convention. If the DNC wants to beat Trump in November, they would be smart to give it to Bernie and not Hillary because he leads Trump in national polls by a larger margin than does Hillary. In some polls Hillary has dropped and is tied, and some show she is losing to Trump.
Hillary only needs 143 delegates to wins the nomination.  I'm pretty sure there are enough delegates remaining for her to secure the nomination without a contested convention.
That's if you're counting the super delegates. You need enough pledged delegates. In 2008 the super delegates switched from Clinton to Obama when he was seen as the stronger candidate. The point of super delegates is that it's supposed to prevent a candidate from getting the nomination who isn't strong enough to defeat the Republican nominee in November. Bernie has been shown to be the stronger candidate against Trump in nearly every national poll. If they choose Hillary despite this, they'd be making a huge gamble on Trump being the next president.
And yet despite all the polls over the course of the last few months that have shown Bernie winning, they still stick with Hillary.  Yeah, she's gonna win the nomination.
