What is the context of paying two guys to dance while holding a sign with "kill all jews" written on it? He complains that the media is after him just to get a a headline, but isn't that prank the same exact thing?

Did the campaign advisers realize they were Russian operatives, or were they phished just like the DNC?

I'm talking about plain evil people. People who kill for joy, or to steal, and it's definitively proven they did do it.
Really?
Because you suggested that everyone accused of murder should be executed tomorrow, even with a risk of false convictions.
Now we've gone to "Definitive proof they did it"
I did say that. But do not take things so literally. It would be common sense to go about it in a way that only includes those where it is absolutely proven. Heck, I'm sure just re-examining a lot of cases would help get rid of some of the innocent people. No telling how much of it was from racism and things like that.
I don't think any of us mean to gang up on you, but you can't make a very straightforward statement like that and then accuse us of being too literal. I think we all just want you to recognize that there's nuance to seemingly common sense ideas.

I'd say if you don't have Bloodborne by now you might as well throw your PS4 in the trash.
But also, Last of Us and the Uncharted series. Ratchet and Clank was also really great.

I read that a lot of people confess to being guilty to crimes they are not guilty of. Forgot why they do that though. That could have something to do with it.
Our legal system is entirely dependent on plea bargains; if every criminal went to trial, the legal costs would bankrupt the system and overburden the already strained incarceration system. Many people take pleas when faced with a crime they didn't commit because they're told by public defenders or police that they will almost certainly be found guilty of the original crime, and it makes sense to just take the lesser punishment. Very disturbingly, this is the exact same method used in interrogations and torture; you're promised that the pain will stop if you give up a little bit of information. Not only is a 4% rate of false convictions leading to executions barbaric, it is compounded significantly under your ideal of simply executing murderers. Just food for thought.

You can call it my philosophy 101 paper, implying my opinions are sophomoric
That'd be philosophy 202.

But it really isn't even a question of whether it's true; the ninth circuit court has no power of judicial review over an executive order. Fuck Trump, but as ineloquently as he put it, they have no judicial authority on the matter.
Do you have any sources on that? I'm no expert on American law because I don't think it's very interesting, but to my knowledge executive orders are definitely subject to judicial review by federal courts. And unless I'm mistaken, circuit courts of appeal are federal and fully capable of assessing the legality of executive orders or have them taken all the way up to your supreme court.
Edit: did a quick search and came up with these:
https://qz.com/898683/can-an-executive-order-be-revoked/ http://www.tolerance.org/blog/executive-orders-and-checks-and-balances
"Executive orders are also subject to judicial review; like laws, they can be challenged in the federal courts and ultimately go all the way to the Supreme Court."
Source: NPR But in general, executive orders are reviewed by the supreme court, and ever further, courts very rarely interfere with the legislative and executive powers to manage immigration because of the separation of those branches' power.

Well it's true, executive orders aren't under the purview of the judiciary.
I think it's more so them saying the Judiciary branch is trying to be this big overreaching thing and that what they do WILL NOT be questioned. Which is fucking stupid, it will always be questioned. This isn't Russia or Turkey.
Well having a circuit court rule on the immigration executive order is overreaching. It isn't their place to do so.
I'm not so sure that's true. It would be if the executive order was more clear cut and they just easily redrafted it and made it more clear, instead of just crying about it. It'd easily get passed. In its current state, it's way too damn messy. And even if it doesn't, it'll go to the Supreme Court where it'll soon be in his favor, along with the circuit courts being in his favor whom he appoints.
And that doesn't invalidate the other things the dude said.
Which dude? But it really isn't even a question of whether it's true; the ninth circuit court has no power of judicial review over an executive order. Fuck Trump, but as ineloquently as he put it, they have no judicial authority on the matter.

Got some iffy news.
2017: The year Nintendo goes full EA I'm not exactly opposed to expansion, but they have to be expansions, not just a little dungeon and and some collectibles. I'm already concerned about the "massive" gameplay world, since Zelda works so damn well in contained, polished spaces and much less so in open areas with little to do.

It's a sad day on Sep7agon when the only amusement I can get is correcting comic book lore from 20 years ago christ shit fuck.
Any comic recommendations? I've been trying to read some of the better stories before digging into random stuff.

This is the most wonderfully succinct takedown of comics I've ever seen.
have you read any of his stuff? i've only read i have no mouth, but i definitely plan on reading some more
No, I haven't, but I intend to now. I'm kind of put off by older sci fi.

I wouldn't limit it to India. Most (if not all) asian cultures stigmatize sex and co-ed socialization. India compounds that with a patriarchal caste system.

I'll take a premature death over growing up in a shitty poor household with a single baby mother any day of the week.
That's not your choice to make though; abortion completely removes all agency from the individual fetus -- even to later take their own life if they choose -- and aren't you all about consent? If being conceived was the greatest offense you can imagine, wouldn't the preclusion of any further consent on your part be a similarly heinous offense?

Haven't we seen this same thread before?
Anyways, I still stand by the claim that all arguments in favor of abortion at any stage can be used to justify euthanizing newborns and infants.

We will not recognise the filthy colonist sub speak until you call crumpets crumpets.
I was under the impression muffins and crumpets are slightly different.

What is it? Looks like a toasted bread bun
The bread that is used for eggs benedict. In the US it's called an english muffin. Oh shit, do you even have eggs benedict in the UK?

Is it just me or was Obama's answer to everything "just give the kurds guns, bro"?
It kind of is. Why put troops on the ground.
I tend to agree, but an argument against relying on regional allies is that they tend to be fucking incompetent and often corrupt.

God damn I had the image I swear I saved it. If someone else can post it please do but there's an image of a comic 343i did (Halo: Escalation) where in the story Chief destroys a piece of Gamma Halo to finally kill the Didact. The strip that shows the section of Gamma Halo disconnecting was the most laughably bad thing in the entire comic. 343i probably realized this because the image of the strip itself seems to have been completely purged online.
Halo Escalation was, in general, really poorly illustrated.

The prometheans are some of the most boring and uninspired designs I've ever seen in a sci-fi game. It really is a shame that they were ever introduced as mob enemies in the first place.

Holy shit that was an obnoxious intro
I do prefer a less binary system, though. We'll see how it's actually implemented.

Selling to a wider audience means more money and in an ever-more-competitive industry, it's sadly a requirement for studios to stay afloat.
