Just an idea I've been tossing around for a while. We'd have a formal debate on a subject that could either be voted on or just decided by whoever leads it. Specific users (mods or otherwise) would be assigned as the moderator of the debate, sides would be assigned randomly, participants would be grouped into teams, posts would be more formal than the usual discussion, etc. I was never part of a debate team in school, so someone with that experience could step up to organize it (maybe Meta, though I think the organizer should be removed from actual participation).

Maybe it's a terrible idea. I just thought we could use something to change up the normal tired discussions.

At my university I saw a few times a group of fundamentalist Muslims claiming Christians, Jews, and Atheists were going to burn. It's all about free speech, man, no matter how disgusting it may feel. I'd be more disgusted by government intervention. The best result is seeing people ignore them completely.

The point is I don't really care, otherwise I would've debated further. But what I'm saying is the way you guys are acting is childish.

I don't even know what you're doing in this thread. Your typical behavior on here, whether you like it or not, doesn't give you much of a position to call our actions childish. Yeah Meta got out of hand a bit (and I pointed that out), but this is just pointless. Kupo is a big boy perfectly capable of handling himself. I doubt you get much money (if any) from YouTube, and the channel really helps legitimize this as a gaming community rather than a B.Net offsite.
