I'm still super confused by Final Fantasy. Like, sometimes it's pure fantasy with magic and steampunk medieval stuff, and other times it's science fantasy set in the future with guns and motorcycles, but still swords and body armor. And there are like 6 different sets of stories that don't cross paths at all.
I need a CliffsNotes version of the series.

At no point did I dismiss the game because of a pre-rendered announcement trailer. What would I have liked to see? Something indicative of gameplay, plot, or characters.

Meh, it's only an announcement trailer. You shouldn't expect more than some Mass Effect spacey stuff and some flashy images. It's more to get everyone hooked for what they wanna show in the future.

Whilst it doesn't really, the incessant PC elitism that goes on has suddenly lost it's exclusivity for mods which is going to nerf the argument of elitism a little.
Except for all the graphical or otherwise system-intensive mods that absolutely will not work on the Xbox One. I'm all for mods bleeding into consoles, but it's unquestionable that the PC is still the best way to play almost every game -- and this is coming from someone that owns both next-gen consoles.

Either he's lying to keep it secret, or they're keeping him in the dark until shooting starts to avoid spoilers. I could see him being absent from season 6 as he may be off doing warg stuff with Bran.

I don't care what you do with your money. I have little respect for the whole amiibo system. The virtual aspect is a fun idea that should be tied to an account (rather than a physical product), but the artificial scarcity and high prices are absurd.

Just a reminder that common core is basically a vague list of objectives for schools to accomplish in various subjects, not a complete overhaul of teaching methods and curricula. Any viral images of bizarre teaching practices are just red herrings; the real opposition is that it's inefficient in such a broad scope.

Dark Souls
Played a demo of the Undead Asylum, died from the boulder, the skeletons, and the Asylum Demon, had no idea what to do, thought the controls were a mess, and generally just wanted to hack and slash my way through. I gave it up until last year when I bought Dark Souls 1 & 2 during a Steam sale, and now the series is one of my favorites.
