Honestly, I think the Jews need to seriously reconsider how they go about slaughtering animals. In a small slaughterhouse, the process is relatively humane and there has been research demonstrating that the animals are largely unaware that their throat was even slit (due to how finely sharpened the knife needs to be), but when attempts are made to industrialize the process it results in a very frightening experience for the animals. I'm not sure how Muslims do it for halal meat, but I imagine they have similar processes.
So yeah, obviously it's anti-semitic because it specifically rules out Jewish and Muslim practices, but that doesn't necessarily make it reprehensible.

The rest of the video has amazing fight scenes in it from the same movie, but this one takes the cake.
Instead of running towards him with your gun, why not just shoot him?
At the end? He didn't have a gun, he was holding a sword. The video didn't show the part where there were like 8 guards in the room that he had to kill with a katana. He drops it, then runs at the boss and grabs a handgun on the ground.

as stupid as naruto is, i saw an episode on TV a long time ago where shikamaru and temari fought each other and it was pretty cool, actually
shikamaru's supposed to have a mad genius level IQ, apparently, so his battle plan was pretty clever and interesting to watch
Naruto pretty much sucked and had terrible pacing, but it had some pretty great fights if you could get past how drawn out and full of power creep they could be.

Ender's Game is probably my favorite book series. It diverts into two character paths, and the final novel was supposed to bring the two characters back together after thousands of years. The book was quietly published (the surprise being that I didn't realize it had been released for a few months), and it was just terrible.
I didn't find out until just recently that there were books after Children of the Mind.
Chronologically there aren't, but if you're talking about the Shadow series or the Formic War series, they're definitely worth checking out. The latter are more military sci-fi books, and not very philosophical like the Ender books. It's kinda getting milked at this point, but it's still relatively fresh.
When I "finished" that series the last shadow book was the one where Bean blasts off into space with his kids at the end.
I didn't even know this Formica war shit existed and I don't know if there's anything that takes place after that book in the shadow series.
There is. It's called "Shadows in Flight" And it's the terrible book I referring to.

NAU has a pretty nice location Hahaha, holy shit, who told you this? Flagstaff fucking sucks. ASU is the place to be for anything STEM. If you really want to see the observatory then drive the two hours from Phoenix to Flagstaff on a weekend.
What majors are you thinking about?
ASU Fulton Schools of Engineering class of 2014, broski.
I've been to Flagstaff >.> and I enjoyed it.
I'm wanting to do an Astrophysics degree and then Physics.
Ever tried living there, though? It's better than Tucson, I'll give you that. But Phoenix is a really incredible city.

I really wanted to like it, but it was just so boring. 3/4 of the season was talking about how shady ONI is and uncovering John's childhood -- that'd be cool if it hadn't been thoroughly explained in novels and cutscenes.

Wind Waker is in my top 5 video games, so I was excited to play its direct sequel, but the awkward controls and constant backtracking are pretty frustrating. Especially just coming off of A Link Between Worlds (which was great), this is just hard to play.
Any thoughts?

Black Flag should've been the direction the rest of the series would take. I don't know how anyone could even still care about the assassin/templar fight at this point. It's just boring.

If that makes him insane, then so is President Obama, Mrs. and Mr. Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. I never claimed they weren't, but if you can show me where Obama or Sanders say that the bible is completely factual and trumps science, I'm all ears.
As far as I've seen, Kasich has never said or implied that the Bible is completely factual or trumps science; in fact the full quote that this is referring to discusses that he sees many of the stories as allegorical but that it does contain historical content. And that's true, because many of the books were written to be historical accounts and are used in conjunction with other records to develop an idea of the history of the Ancient Near East.

>companies and not government regulations should protect the environment, anti-Kyoto America should not be part of the Kyoto treaty, and it's demonstrably more efficient to have corporations effect carbon regulations. >cut education budgets and funding (kinda) and give more power to local schools I'm not really sure where this is coming from, but in 2014 Ohio's education budget was the highest in history, and any previous cuts were likely part of across-the-board austerity measures to balance the state's budget. >pro-life and firm opponent of abortion He supports abortion before 20 weeks. >anti-gay (in general, marriage, adoption) This isn't true, either. A personal belief about an issue doesn't constitute a policy. >FOX news host on a batshit insane program From the Heartland was a bit before my time, but it seems like pretty status-quo for political commentary at the time. >insane christian ("bible stories are historical facts", "evidence says that the earth did not come about on its own", supporting amendment for school prayer) If that makes him insane, then so is President Obama, Mrs. and Mr. Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. >pro death penalty And he also thoroughly reviews each sentencing and has granted clemency to numerous inmates. >pro gun This is meaningless. >demanded that a professor saying 9/11 was brought on by the US got fired Yeah...no. The professor was anti-semitic and claimed the employees in the World Trade Center brought it on themselves, comparing them to Nazis. He's a very experienced and successful leader, and a socially moderate Conservative that recognizes a changing public opinion and works with it. He's definitely a strong candidate.
