You're just as bad as vegetarians and vegans who feel the need to tell me eating meat is wrong
I used to be annoyed by it, too. Then I realized that if people think its annoying to be told that eating meat is wrong, let them be annoyed.
The point is that animals don't have a voice. People are needed to get the message across. Its the only way to end animal suffering.
I thought the only way to end animal suffering was by eating them?
No, that's poor people.

Bullshit that works. I always find a topic where I am politically biased and only after getting some extra knowledge do I have a better view on it. Most recently with Economics.
Hell everyone has a bias one way or another.
I think the point of it is to ascertain the degree to which you're able to evaluate a political claim and determine an answer (right or wrong) independent of typical right or left wing influence. A cool concept but I question how valid it is.

It also needs to be stated that, according to other Government agencies outside of the state department, some of the information sent through the emails was not deemed classified at the time that it was sent - it's classification as such came later in her tenure, or even after the fact.
This really excuses nothing; if anything, it highlights why it's important to follow security protocols. If any other servicemember had done something similar (classified material via personal accounts or unauthorized means) they'd be in prison. And another huge concern is that she's been meticulously grooming her appearance and reputation for a presidential bid; deleting a swath of emails after a large controversy largely centered around her lies to the public was a strategic move to avoid further embarrassment.

But I kinda agree.

several of the members are voting how they are due to their religious affiliation.
This assumption, tinged in racism, is exactly the problem. They're defining each person's vote based on a presumed religious bias when in reality they are probably just opposed to it.

I fail to see the point?
It's in very poor taste. Like showing the number of black Congressmen voting for gun control or something like that.

Take a look at yourself, are you really a fuckin man? If you don't even drop acid and you think it tastes bad, then you're a mere child. What do children do? They Bitch and complain about stuff that's too complicated for their underdeveloped bodies to handle. Acid is a fine drug and if you don't really drop acid then you're a fuckin pussy. I drop like a tab a day, LSD or the local blotter, Yellow Sunshine, because I'm a man.

The people begged the emperor to surrender because they feared for his life, not because they didn't want to die themselves.
Shit, seriously?
It's not that simple, but the military leadership was consistently again unconditional surrender terms because it precluded the hope of keeping Hirohito in power, and the culture of bushido that had pervaded the entire country (most significantly in the military) meant that the Japanese people strongly believed that dying for their emperor was a duty; suicide was an honorable action to take after defeat, and it's very likely that in the event of imminent defeat during an invasion, we would have seen mass suicide among the Japanese populace.

beer is fucking sdiusgusting
Beer is gross though
STOP
Alcohol isn't good for you in any way.
I doubt it will be detrimental, but Beer has no nutritional value besides carbs, and they aren't particularly good carbs.
More than seven drinks a week is a potential sign of alcohol dependency.
In general though, any amount of beer is unhealthy. Alcohol sugar is converted almost entirely to fat; it's all empty calories.
Damn... I kinda don't wanna drink beer anymore now that you put it that way. I don't like consuming any sort of empty calories and I realize that I should probably cut beer out of my diet. Oh dear. Well I guess thanks for bringing this to my attention because I never really thought of it, but it does hurt to think about.
For a long time I thought liquor had no calories, so I'd drink that instead of beer sometimes. Felt like a huge moron when I found out.

america's excuse for war
It's like pearl harbour. They couldn't wait to test them nukes on live people.
Except that pearl harbour could be retaliated against. Within four years, they had avenged those who died. Because tey were fighting a nation, something that could be destroyed.
Here, they basically declared war on an ideology, soemthing anyone can pick up and adopt. And they can never win because it.
We declared war on Al Qaeda, and actually won that fight for the most part through the eradication of AQ in Afghanistan and the ouster of the Taliban in Afghanistan, as well as the killing of several generations of AQ leadership. The 'war on terror' is ongoing, but 9/11 certainly was avenged.

It's funny that he uses Smith's change into a virus, caused by Neo, as the main reason that Smith is the One. He claims Neo never really uses his power to change the Matrix...when in reality Neo changed the Matrix by making Smith a virus, who then rebelled against the machines, allowing Neo to negotiate with the Architect for humanity's salvation.

-Big Hero 6 -Cars -Tomorrowland -Planes -Wreck-It Ralph -John Carter -Prince of Persia -Tron: Legacy -Toy Story -Pirates of the Caribbean
Disney has tons of male-oriented films.
I mean exclusively animated films. Films like Treasure Planet and Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Movies that are geared towards a more mature demographic of males rather than just children.
So you want them animated, but not designed strictly for children? Treasure Planet and Atlantis were both pretty childish and goofy. Regardless, half the franchises I mentioned are animated, and it's by no means exhaustive.

Looks pretty simple. Your phone will lead you in a direction (not sure if it's at random), and when you get to a spot you'll "throw" the little pokeball (via Bluetooth?) which probably has a small electronic gyro to sense a throwing motion, and then you'll have a chance of catching the pokemon. It doesn't seem to have a way to actually stage a battle, though; all the attacks seemed to just come at random, so maybe there'll be something like a 1-on-1 type of battle between two Pokemon.
Kind of a neat idea for those that would enjoy that sort of thing.

Japan wanted to surrender. Hirohito was advised multiple times to surrender. The emperor was a delusional fool that refused to admit defeat. Without nukes, it was extremely likely for Japan to surrender before the invasion planned on November 1st.
It was the opposite, actually. Japanese military leadership consistently refused to surrender unconditionally because they wanted Hirohito to remain in power. And saying that they would have surrendered is all well and good, but they had almost 4 months after being 'defeated' to surrender, and they repeatedly refused. It's not like they were asking to surrender but the U.S. just blew them off.

They could have nuked key military bases but instead attacked cities.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were key military targets. Military bases aren't just isolated in the middle of nowhere; they have cities built around them.
Would it have not been a more humane idea to destroy the military bases specifically with missiles rather than nuking the shit out of it?
>missiles >WWII
Why didn't they use smaller bombs, then? They did. They firebombed Tokyo to ash and it didn't work. The nukes were a display of force necessary to yield a surrender.
But Japan had no allies. Its navy was basically destroyed, its islands were under a naval blockade and as you said, they were already performing intense bombings across cities. Surely a surrender was coming.
Yeah, there are so many quotes from politicians saying Japan would've surrendered. After the Dresden bombings, surely Japan would surrender. After their allies Germany and Italy surrendered, surely Japan would surrender. After the U.S. firebombed Tokyo and dozens of other cities, surely Japan was ready to surrender. After the blockade and defeat of the Japanese navy, then Japan was obviously just about to surrender. After the warnings of imminent destruction, Japan definitely was right on the brink of surrendering. After the first nuclear weapon was used against them, Japan was literally days away from surrendering. After the second nuke was used, it took Japan a week and a half to announce their surrender. Their culture was one that would have willingly died for no reason at all, if the emperor asked. The people begged the emperor to surrender because they feared for his life, not because they didn't want to die themselves.

Also I would just like to remind you all that my stance on 9/11 is neutral - I'm just presenting arguments so they can be hopefully explained and discussed.
This is like, the most spineless position you could take in a discussion.
That's because I'm the OP and I'm trying to generate it. And also partly due to the fact that I stand neutral on the subject. I'm not sure being spineless is defined as appreciating both sides of the argument.
Let's get this straight: for most of the thread you were propagating the theory that thermite was used on 9/11. It wasn't, and there's no evidence it was. The notion that the U.S. government murdered 3000 citizens for some dubious reason is significant, and it's pretty contemptible to start and defend the argument and then back out by pretending you're just playing devil's advocate.
