Any gun is better than what you have now

So should I just be ditching all my purples and exotics and starting from greens and blues?
Save ones you like for the crucible. Or just to have.

That's what I did. I'm already level 40, got a couple exotics and a couple legendaries from random engrams and Xur. Liking the new content. The way it is now is how the game should've shipped.

I was given The Killers Hot Fuzz for a white elephant gift many years ago. They've been my favorite band since, with their frontman Brandon Flowers being my favorite solo act.

Can't stand Drake's rapping. His R&B is pretty good. I think Diamonds Dancing is my favorite on the album.

Honestly it's pretty bad though. I don't know how people enjoy rappers mumbling into a microphone with stupid lyrics ("I got a big team, they need some really big rings, they need some really nice things"? Fucking seriously?).

However, from my experience, I have yet to meet someone with a severe learning disability who has absolutely no enjoyment of life at all.

Kids with severe mental disabilities are some of the happiest people I've ever met.

Anyone know of ways to get strange coins before level 40? i.e., no weekly heroic strike or that stuff.

Three of coins and strikes are good. You get them from xur and every time you kill a strike boss and you pop one it will increase your chance for an exotic from the next boss you kill. The leveling system is revamped so you have a base level of 40 to achieve and then a light level which at this point has a max of 310 (You should start somewhere in the 170 range if you have already been playing). You will get a new subclass on the second mission of the DLC depending on your class. The raid requires a light level of around 290 but it is totally worth getting up in levels to do it. Besides that a whole bunch of rebalancing has been done, much too many things have changed to list on here but here are some basic things.
Any tips on where to get started working on gear? And I've noticed my old gear works just fine in patrols and the crucible; I assume higher level missions and raids will prove that it's all obsolete.
Quests

So just to confirm, my purples and exotics are completely useless in strikes and stuff, so outside of sentimental value there's no reason to not deconstruct all of them for materials? Or will they not even give me anything useful and they should just sit in the bank forever?

All Year One items have a max level of 180. With Year 2, the items go beyond that -  so regular Y2 greens will deal as much, if not more, than a Y1 exotic. Sone Y1 exotics have gotten a stronger Y2 option as well.

You can still use Y1 items for any of the pre-Taken King story missions and strikes though

Year 2 items are marked with the TTK emblem in the corner, right? And does that include ascended year 1 items, or is ascending them not very useful?

I've always wondered how such muscular dudes manage to have a huge thigh gap.
Spartans are lean, not stacked roid monsters

Even if they're all full otter-mode (which is contradictory to the fact that they literally are roid monsters in power armor), the armor plates wouldn't allow so much room.

Obviously it's an artistic thing and it's not a big deal. I just think it looks funny.

I heard Xur is selling the Hawkmoon this weekend.

But this is coming from a guy who heard that on a website and sold Density months ago; so what do I know?

He is but I don't have enough coins and I don't have TTK yet so I really don't have a way to get them quickly.

Decided to check out Destiny again because my Xbox Live membership is about to expire and figured I'd see if it's worth renewing. All my legendaries and exotics are shittier than greens I picked up, and I need a bunch of materials to make them better. Several of my exotic upgrades were reset too, which blows ass.

What are the new exploits? Which guns are good and which suck now?

Why don't you just write down that day's homework assignment at the end of the lecture?
Yeah, because writing down five-six urls by hand in a few seconds is easier than doing it later when you have more time.

Or take a picture. I thought you were talking about chapters and page numbers to read.

The M rating was mostly for the Flood. Half the enemies are robots now, so it's even less gory.

It's kind of nice to hop on a bandwagon to vilify a greedy public figure and get vindication from economists who actually know what they're talking about.

The most interesting bit is that he appears to have broken the law by publicly announcing a price change without consulting the FDA.

I have actual alpha footage on my computer at home. So if anyone wants I can upload it to mega upload or something and pm you the link.

That way you can make your own decision instead of listening to someone from lolneogaf.

Couldn't find a legit YouTube link. Check it out at Spotify.

Seems pretty solid, and the orchestral work fits the Bond motif very well; not so sure about the lyrics and the sung melody.  We'll have to wait to see how well it fits until the opening cinematic.

Anyone watched this yet? It's from a guy who worked on Flapjack and Adventure Time. Similar art style, but a darker tone and fewer characters. Elijah Wood voices one of the main characters. First episode wasn't bad but nothing special. Does it pick up later on?

4491
They did, which allows for lots of Zod-esque plotlines to be repeated over and over when things get dry.

If we have the means to do so, yes. They typically die young, anyway.

Uh, what? I happen across many severely handicapped people during my work, and many of them are NOT young. In fact most of them are 50 plus years old.

Oh well if you've seen some old retarded people then I guess we'll just throw statistics out the window. Nevermind that they probably weren't born that way if they've lived into their fifties, and likely suffered an injury or some other condition which caused retardation.

Why don't you stop being a little bitch and teach yourself?

Because what the hell are my parents paying for? Me to know shit I probably won't ever need and not how to psy friggin taxes?!

I cannot tell you 25% of my state laws
I cannot recite the human rights OR the Constitution(working on that)
I barely know anything I need to know!

High school is more about competence and foundational knowledge so you can find what you enjoy and pursue it later in life.

When people tell you that high school basically has no impact on the rest of your life, they're right.

I learned all of that in high school, but your parents are largely responsible for that stuff.

Okay, what if your parents are uneducated, unmotivated or dead?
Same goes for Gaurdians.

Not everyone is taught the same way, so some people will need more education than others.

Honestly I don't even know why it's taught in high school. You're not going to retain any of it because you'll go at least a couple more years without even needing it, especially if you go to college. Barring that there are guides for basically anything you could ever do; and honestly, unless you're getting a 1040EZ or other simple statement you really should be using a professional for taxes, especially when you own multiple properties or fucked up your itemization throughout the year.

I have no clue what you're talking about

Which is my EXACT FRIGGIN POINT.
They can get the idea in your head. So you aren't completely lost trying to figure out how to pay it!

I didn't learn any of that in high school, I  learned it actually filing my taxes. We have such unbelievable access to simple guides for almost any task on the internet, it's kind of silly to complain that you're not learning. Trust me, as someone that learned the stuff you're saying you wanted to learn, when I say it was completely pointless.

Hell, my parents told me to pick out two stocks, watch them and chart the counts, and note all the news that could effect the stocks. Then I can see when the best time to sell/buy and do it at those times. Which then they'll buy them and sell them.
Now THAT'S how you do it! Well...the teachers wouldn't buy the stock, but you can have your students watch some.

Reactionary investment is a terrible way to do it. Your parents are teaching you wrong.

GoT is good. I really like character dramas, but there's quite a bit of unnecessary nudity that really is just bro-service. One or two big fights per season, and some pretty great writing up until season 5.

Narcos is really good. Daredevil kind of sucked beyond some novel cinematography early on. Bad actors and a silly plot.

I like how the game immediately starts with an outdated meme. Really sets the mood.

I am normally a very emotionally stable guy but I am seriously contemplating suicide after watching that.
