From an evolutionary standpoint, sure. Morality, or at least our interpretation of it, is a result of our species' development of civilization and subsequent need to express universal rules. Surely might makes right in other species, who have literally clawed tooth and nail to be the top of their niche, and in an increasingly representative system of governments, the strongest apparently represent the majority of their electorates.
But reasonably speaking, it's not a rule that might always (or often) makes right.

Intersectionality. I learned about this in the mandatory Social Justice ("social issues") course I take.
All of our problems stem from multiple social failures intersecting and interacting. There is no easy way out, and it certainly isn't through legislation.
I've never actually heard that term. I know I can just Google it, but do you have any specific sources of info you've used for that?

Anyways, back on topic. This feels like the opposite side of the coin to the veiled racism of right-wingers trotting out statistics about black crime and incarceration. The response is always about how socio-economic factors contribute strongly to crime statistics, so why isn't it the same for whites? Is it really about misogyny and patriarchy, or is it about a failed system of education, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of the mentally ill? Or is it actually solely to blame on the prevalence of guns in America? Maybe it's a mix of all of those: unvilified subcultures of masculinity being particularly prominent in the mentally ill and worsened by the availability of guns, both legally and illegally. Who knows. Post your thoughts after reading the article.

Psychopaths don't wear labels, unless you plan on screening out anyone who has ever been diagnosed with depression or been on Prozac, plenty are going to get through.
I'm not sure what your point is other than the painfully obvious fact that mental illness is difficult to discriminate which really has very little to do with what I'm actually saying.

The problem is that Republicans think "gun control" means "gun ban." Nothing will ever get changed while that misconception is still going around.
That's because, to a lot of liberals, it does mean that. Many republicans are strongly in favor or increasing restrictions on criminals or the mentally ill, more strict rules for concealed carry, etc. But how far do you go? Ban rifles, high capacity magazine, and concealed pistols, and an ill person could still shoot up a building with a handgun and a few magazines.

Wow, I apologize, I just looked up the article I read a while ago that I referenced that from, and I realize I drastically misunderstood what it was saying. The U.S. has more shootings than like 30 other nations combined, so it's literally the opposite of what I said. Deeply sorry for the confusion.

Pretty true, actually. My dad got a master's in mechanical engineering, worked for aerospace companies designing various things, eventually got fed up with management and government contracts so he left engineering, taught for a while, taught himself the tax code and became a self-employed tax agent making six figures working full time only a few months a year.
The degree (excluding doctorates) is more of an indicator of competence than career path.

Same. I'd rather read it first, also. But we know Jon's in season 6, and since they burn the bodies in the north I can't imagine they'll be able to draw his death out too long.

You literally just linked me the same article I showed you, which goes into great detail about Hitler's use of privatization to invigorate the economy. Later on he nationalized a few of those industries again, but I never said otherwise. I said he used certain capitalist policies to stock up for the impending war, at which point he shifted to a more nationalized, fascist system.
