That's not giving an important philosophical question the total respect it deserves.
Sorry, I was pretty drunk. We've already talked about this at length, though.

>gets asked to define white privilege after provoking an argument >"OHMYGOD SO INFURIATING IM BASICALLY BEING ASKED TO DEMONSTRATE MY BUZZWORD OF THE DAY YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW THIS YOU WHITE DEVILS"
Why is it when you get to brass tacks with these people they always find some slippery sleight of hand to dodge the questions being asked? I mean, I guess he provided some semblance of an answer, but not before throwing a fucking temper tantrum about it.
I think the most infuriating thing is that white people are never asked to do anything about white privilege, just accept it and feel bad about it. And when asked to define it, the author throws out the pathetic analogy to asking a fish to describe water -- we're so used to it we don't even see it. How convenient.

And probalby a shit load more in the EU. The only thing that made Katarn "unique" was his personality. That of which is basically replicated within Kanan.
Kanan even has the dogshit brown shirt and shoulder pad.
Still iffy on whether he's banging Hera, though.
He was banging Hera in A New Dawn, so probably still is.
New Dawn makes it annoyingly clear that at the end of the book they don't have a romantic relationship at all.

Our minds are stochastic -- effectively random -- and so our will, while entirely deterministic, is effectively free and undetermined.
Something either stochastic or determined--or both--is not anything which can be called a "will".
I'm talking about our minds, though. We're deterministically chaotic; call it free will or not, we are what we are.

Free will exists in the same way infinity does. Our actions, including what I'm writing here, are a result of an uncountable number of processes and electrochemical reactions occurring in our brains by neurons formed by years of indescribable sensory input. We absolutely live in a deterministic world, but you know what we call a deterministic system with no recognizable pattern or method of prediction, effectively random? Stochastic. Our minds are stochastic -- effectively random -- and so our will, while entirely deterministic, is effectively free and undetermined.

I think most of us can agree that the story in H4 was better than previous titles.
Does anyone actually think that?

ending
Yawn. Exuberant Witness seems cool. I wish they'd get some solid sci-fi writers into the fold to give the novels what they deserve instead of the YA trash filler they've put out so far.

Rewatching the trailers.
So I'm assuming Finn nicks a TIE fighter and hightails it out of the Star Destroyer, then crash lands on Jakku.

It's great that they haven't shown what events cause Finn to flip out and desert from the Empire.

What happened to numero uno?
Also that dog looks nice, fantastic coat
I really liked her but my wife didn't. And she was kind of old too -- she had started developing fatty tumors, a sign of advanced age -- so we decided it wasn't a good match.

https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/29596534We're going on Sunday to see him, and we'll probably take him home that day if we like him (the shelter's pretty far away and we don't want to have to do another trip if we're sure about him). Any tips for preparing a house for a new dog? We're gonna buy a kennel and a couple beds and a bunch of toys, but this will be my first dog on my own. Also post pics of your dog if you want.

My white privilege helps me out by preventing me from commenting on the way it is socially acceptable for a black man to write about the experiences of white people when a white man writing about the experiences of black people would be labelled ignorant.
To be fair, the article is specifically asking white people to talk about their lives; he's not doing it for them.
He sure isn't afraid to comment on them, or select the ones most consistent with his worldview to publish
You're right, I didn't even see it like that.

Something to consider though. Thinking about the tattoo comment.
Let's say you were to take 50 different other white guys with red hair and different tattoos. And shoot them out to that job. How many of them would get the job?
Statistically speaking, not all of them would get the job. Some of them might likely be turned down because of their tattoos, depending on the style.
So would it really be fair to label that incident as white priviledge? What if the guy just had a good personality to match and it's what sealed the deal over his tattoos and otherwise strange appearance?
There are always other factors in things.
Which is why I practically hate when the word privilege is thrown around like some insult and shame train bullshit.
The point of that one is that a black guy with tattoos and dreds would be seen as an unqualified thug, whereas it's seen as artsy in a white guy.

Good thing MCC has (or had Idk if it was patched) that glitch so you could just load up the level and quit so it counts as completed
Is it that simple or are there other steps?

I think it's kind of cool that you can have a big group of anonymous friends interacting every day. It's like your relationships are based entirely on each other's personality instead of your situation, class schedule, job, or social group.

Jesus guys, you didn't play a game where you can make a lightning tornado out of your hand for the story.
It's like a comic crossover; you just want to see the characters fight, and the plot doesn't matter.

Should they be taxed like any other organization?
Yes, and they are. They lose their tax exempt status if they fail to meet the criteria of a 501c3.
I'm asking if any of them should have it at all.
Yes, because they meet the criteria for a 501c3. Certain megachurches should be accountable for excise taxes, though (which I believe some are).

I took 22 in my last semester because I'm a masochist.
fuck how did you not commit suicide?
Not sure. That was on top of planning a wedding, procrastinating my thesis project, and completing my capstone. It was kind of a blur. I needed to take 22 to graduate.

When all else fails in sci fi, just default to the 'AI want to rule the world' trope.
Better hold on for one hell of a deus ex machina in Halo 6 if this is the story.

Safety razor, so none of the above.
Wuss
Wow look at this pussy
>Not actually knowing what a safety razor is I use disposable double-edged razor blades. It's like a straight razor that you replace instead of resharpening.
