I wasn't even aware the EU had brought charges against him to begin with. All EU states should still honor extradition treaties regardless of this vote, however.

Never shave anything except your face. Trim your junk, but leave the rest alone.

So did we actually accomplish anything in Halo 5? Because I can't think of a single thing that affected the story. Maybe saved some people from prometheans, but that's it.

Did they ever explain in SpOps why the prometheans are attacking colonies? Is it just for shits and giggles?

Aren't officers placed on administrative leave whenever they're under investigation, which is a fairly common occurrence?

Except it's retarded to consider tax deductions and rates as subsidies. A subsidy is a transfer of funds from the government to an organization; that's not what is occurring.

I'd ask to play with you guys, but my mic is just trash right now.

Every time I hear someone in the chat, it either just goes static, or I can't hear it at all. :/
I thought you were being a dick D:

Started campaign. Mission 1+2. Really fucking fun.

First half was great. Second half was the same encounters over and over again.

Spoiler
I swear you fight the Warden like 12 times.

Spoiler
He's a centralised AI with "a few million bodies", a concept not uncommon with the forerunners.
I'm aware. Still boring and repetitive.

So yeah, for those of you who haven't beaten it on legendary.

Cortana took control of the Halos and Halo 6 is probably going to be you trying to stop her from killing all sentient life in the galaxy.

I really doubt it since that would invalidate the whole plot of Halo 5 (why find all the guardians if she's just going to use a Halo?). Unless her plan is to use a composer on all who surrender and kill the rest.

That big ball from h4 is a rip off of the traveller.

Joke thread aside, I seriously think Bungie used a bunch of old concept work for Halo in Destiny. The designs of the Traveler and the ghosts are straight out of Halo.
Need sauce m8

Sauce is my eyeballs. I meant I think they used scrapped concept material that they liked but couldn't use.

« on: October 27, 2015, 09:42:17 PM »
Work boots (daily)
Dress shoes for work x2 (brown and black)
Boat shoes (daily casual)
Dress boots (date nights/dressy stuff)
Running shoes
Flip flops

I have a few other pairs of either old running shoes or old dress shoes that I never wear.

Total I'd wear on a weekly basis: 6

but you might as well get the full details of finance so you'll know how to challenge them in life.

I'm a financially stable adult that learned some stuff in econ, but I wouldn't even know what kind of things to include in that class, and I know with near certainty that most of it would go in one ear and out the other because it's not relevant. There's so much other information to be learned in high school that it's really not necessary to include life lessons which are learned through experience, especially when we have access to so much information these days.

School is academic, not practical.

Nah but for real, Challenger is right.

You don't see Asians looting and robbing and blaming white people. Even though they arguably, had it just as bad as blacks in america. Same as the Irish.
Bullshit. Years of slavery and institutionalized racism has been way worse for black people than any other race. To say otherwise is just ignorance of basic American history. Blacks were treated like shit for the majority of Americas existence. And that was just under the law.

Irish and Asian immigrants were basically slaves long after slavery was abolished, and 70 years ago we literally rounded up Japanese and Chinese Americans and put them in camps because we didn't trust them. It's not a pissing content, but it is apparent that Asians assimilated much faster than blacks, despite institutional racism for both groups.

like why the fuck don't they teach this shit in school?

Because parents. There's so much shit that you could experience as an adult, and none of it means anything to you as a high schooler, you'd retain nothing.

Whenever I run into problems I don't know how to handle, I just Google it or call my dad.
I disagree. I feel like public schools should teach basic things related to finance at the latter part of high school since you're almost an adult at that point.

Does your school not offer econ courses?
It did, but Econ and finance are two different things.

I learned taxes and basic investment information in my high school econ class.

Infinite lions all the way.

Also, those graphics. My God.

That's not a gameplay trailer, so you're not seeing anything representing how the game will look.
The first trailers for Heavy Rain and Beyond look like the games too basically. It's in-engine. That's the whole point lol. He likes to show off his graphics. Why would they show a CGI trailer?

Because CGI looks better, and that's obviously not in-engine.

It clearly reads at the end "Captured in-game engine"

I stand corrected, then. The point remains that games often use much better visuals for trailers and cutscenes, still running in the engine but not assets or quality that you'll actually see. This trailer looks vastly different in terms of quality than the demo and trailer we've seen in the past, which presumably were running in-game assets.

-Ground pound
-Shoulder charge
-Revival via portable AI
-Humanoid robot enemies:
  • reveal glowing weak points when shot; take much longer to kill without shooting there
  • enemies teleport into battle with a glowing purple orb
  • boss versions throw homing black orb that causes extreme damage
  • boss versions blind player
  • boss version uses sword despite having lots of big guns
  • when killed, boss yells then implodes into a black portal
-Boss enemy is fought and seen over and over again with no new mechanics
-Almost every checkpoint encounter involves fighting off waves of enemies as an AI opens a door or calls an elevator
-Nathan Fillion's character is given the most personality
-Guardians™

I like how you need to pay real money for bags in order to get the masks you need to complete the quests.

Unless I'm mistaken, you can just fill the first bag over and over again.

They do this in MMO's all the time (it's going on in Final Fantasy 14).
But destiny isnt a mmo its special
It's not an MMO! It's a "shared world shooter".

Idk if that's what THEY called it or the fans, because Bungie calling it an MMO is like Madden calling itself an RPG.
Madden is objectively the best RPG

But is Skyrim still sets a benchmark for modern RPGs?
