Don't worry, pretty much the entire class will be zoned out staring at their phones.

Just buy astroturf and bam, green all year round

Astroturf is a good long-term investment, but for a rental it's not a smart buy. If I owned the house I'd consider it.

Fescue that shit up fam

Literally no idea what that is. I was recommended winter rye grass to survive the coldness.

I'm 23 and have only ever slept with my wife. Though, we dated for almost 6 years, so there's that.

After high school you really should drop the attitude that sex is the end-all-be-all of a relationship or your maturity.

The Flood / Anyone ever seeded a lawn before?
« on: November 02, 2015, 02:11:23 PM »
I'm from AZ where we put rocks in our yard instead of grass because watering is so expensive and it has to be reseeded often because it dies in the summer. I moved to Florida and the house I'm renting has a really shitty yard, and I'm interested in growing a lawn for my dog to enjoy. I've looked up some basic guides and it doesn't seem too complicated, but if you've done it before or know anything about landscaping, drop some tips my way.

I didn't realize the REQ system was so extensive, or that there's no other way to unlock the vast majority of armor.

Tbh I'd rather pay $100 for the base game than continue this model of microtransactions and cutting content for DLC.

Bro, I'm pretty sure that Orientals take the cake for historically set racial and xenophobic benchmarks.

The casual racism of modern day Japan is part of its charm, though.

Just a little speculation about repair:

We know the power armor degrades (it has a health bar, not a CND bar). In gameplay demos we've seen enemies get their layered armor blown off in certain pieces, so I'm thinking that while your base armor will not degrade, your layered armor will be subject to damage and you'll have to repair it after battles. This way you probably won't get stuck in a firefight with suddenly destroyed armor or guns, but you'll still have loss of efficiency of your layers, which probably act just like a boost to armor and health.

This was really great. Do you ever use these as a framework for essays or writing submissions in your classes?

Halo 6 will just be 15 missions of fighting 3 sets of Wardens Eternal over and over while he narrates the plot to you.

4123
No gun degradation and no hardcore mode confirmed. That sucks.

The whining in that thread is unbelievable.

The Flood / Re: Best vodka?
« on: November 01, 2015, 05:00:07 PM »
For the most part, all vodka is essentially the same. It's literally defined as flavorless, odorless, and colorless, so all you're really going to differ on is the smoothness. Any flavored vodka is immediately trash unless you're throwing a house party.

That said, Tito's is my favorite.

Is it bad I recognized the article was written by Jessica Valenti the instant I saw it was The Guardian and a stupidly over-the-top feminist story?

It isn't really over-the-top, though. She says several times that she's not saying you're sexist for reading a bunch of male authors or listening to male musicians. She repeatedly recommends branching out and trying female artists to experience another side of art.

It seemed like a pretty level-headed and reasonable article.

I wasn't aware you guys get to fly shit

Is it difficult?

Lots of studying. None of it is particularly hard but there's a lot of material. I'm in school right now, so every flight or sim is an exam.

It's cool as shit though.

I'm all for research, but it kind of goes without saying that we all prefer our own community and ethnicity, and tend to unconsciously associate negative traits to other ethnicities.

Interesting surveys though. Apparently I don't consider Asian Americans to be true Americans.

When I worked at a grocery store an old lady in a handicap cart ran over my foot and broke it.

And my friend and I used to freeze empty SoBe bottles and throw them in the parking lot out back. One time I slipped and nailed a dumpster off to the side, about a foot away from some hobo's head. So yeah, I almost murdered a hobo.

Good thing the Librarian seems to be hooking us up with a new plot thread to give us ships, otherwise we'd really be fucked
Spoiler

So the plan was for AIs to rebel, and for humanity to earn the Mantle by defeating them?

I feel like the whole 'million year plan' concept is totally needless.
