>skipping bosses in a Souls game

2612
Actually, if you (or somebody) could just give me a list of every boss in the game--or just the ones that are necessary to beat the game--just to give me a sense of progression, that could be helpful.

Unless you feel like it could be too spoiler-y, like if a boss's name has plot significance for a twist or... something.

Sure:

Asylum Demon
Taurus Demon
Bell Gargoyles
Capra Demon
Gaping Dragon
*Havel
*Moonlight Butterfly
*Hydra (Darkroot Basin)
Sif
*Stray Demon
Quelaag
*Hydra (Ash Lake)
Iron Golem
Ornstein & Smough
*Crossbreed Priscilla
*Dark Sun Gwyndolin
Seathe the Scaleless
Four Kings
Pinwheel
Gravelord Nito
Ceaseless Discharge
Demon Firesage
Centipede Demon
Bed of Chaos
Gwyn

* = optional

After the first third of the game you can tackle each area in any order you want, with a couple exceptions.
There's a lot more optional bosses than just those, btw.

Those are all the bosses in the base game, with a couple mini-bosses thrown in. There aren't any other actual bosses.

Havel isn't a boss.
Neither are the hydras, but they're worth being on the list.

Not counting the asylum demon, are there any bosses you guys have managed to defeat on your first try?

Not sure if you count it as spoilers, but without cheesing and on my first playthrough, I killed the following first try:
-Capra Demon
-Bell Gargoyles
-Four Kings
-Gaping Dragon
-Artorias
-Pinwheel
-Moonlight Butterfly
-Gwyn
-Bed of Chaos

That was running a dex/pyro build, and some of those fights are just straight up gimme's (Butterfuly, Bed of Chaos, & Pinwheel).

The bosses that still give me the biggest trouble to this day are Kalameet, Sif, and Quelaag.

Hey Verb, I know you've been trying to make your virgin playthrough sacrosanct and spoiler-free, but I honestly think you'd get more enjoyment out of it at least following a basic walkthrough of which areas to progress through in what order.

It's pretty fun but I couldn't play it indefinitely. I got decently rich and got bored of trading and combat was too shallow to enjoy for long.

Can anyone confirm it's pronounced as 'lester'? I heard it on NPR as such.

None. They're all useless in the real world.

Nope.

You're implying that I have friends to text.

But kids are starting to get phones earlier and earlier these days.

Snyder succeeds when he's just copying the comics page for page, so let him do that. He should not be the executive director on the project.

CoD descends further into the uncanny valley.
Not at all

Nothing about it even looks remotely real with textures and lighting that bad.

Well yeah, that's why it's creepy. The guy in that video looks weird to me.

can take book ramsay seriously. show ramsay feels like dick dastardly.

Book Ramsay is leaps and bounds more cruel than in the show. I don't recall ever seeing him peel the skin off of Theon's fingers before snipping off each knuckle one by one. Maybe he's a little more subtle in the book, but there's only so much showtime.

If you're asking what does this have to do with race, there has never been a white kid, of the two dozen or so kids arrested, for this.
The article straight up denies this though:
"In the 29 pages of Cy-Fair ISD police records, abc13 found five students investigated who were listed as black, three students investigated listed as Hispanic, another whose race was listed as "E." There are 15 reports with no race listed."

And this is more than one cop. It's the whole department that handles the school's doing this.
It's not the cop's decision whether or not to carry out an investigation.

Blaming a cop for a stupid law is like blaming a bus driver for traffic.

I still can't wrap my mind around what they're doing with Dorne. GRRM spent the entire goddamn fifth book establishing Dorne's plan, showing the Sand Snakes' growth and eventual acceptance and respect for Doran, and all of that's gone. And Areo Hotah kills exactly zero people in the show. Such a waste of plot and characters.
I have no idea why they're shilling the sand sneks full force. Only one of them is an actual confirmed warrior in the books. They're not the fucking Charlie's Angels of Westeros.
It's been a while since I read the book, but isn't the premise that they're a mix of nobles/peasants that just want revenge for their father and don't really know the politics of Dorne very well? And only Obara is supposed to be a warrior, right?

Yep, except that people are ALREADY genetically diverse. In fact, if you want to talk about whites specifically, Europeans are the least inbred people on the planet. We already have sufficient heterogeneity. The possible advantages of hybrid vigor (assuming the "hybridization" here is creating mixed-race offspring) for us are massively overstated. We don't need it in our gene pool.
Secondly, the unmixed European diaspora is 7% of the world's population and dropping. Our eventual disappearance at this rate is not a crazy conspiracy theory, it's a mathematical certainty. Very little of that at the moment is caused by racial mixing (which most whites continue to disdain), but from dropping fertility rates. People like the OP pushing this "your babies will be cuter" (!! can you think of a more superficial argument?) crap does not help, though.
Please explain to me why white people freak out over the possible disappearance of some species of squirrels, crocodiles, beetles, and various other animals that may be slightly distinct from OTHER species of squirrels, crocodiles and beetles...but can't give a hot damn about their VERY distinct racial group disappearing, and any concerns over that means you're from "Stormfront"?

tfw white supremacists use a thesaurus to sound legitimate

tfw comparing race to varying species of animals

tfw "We already have sufficient heterogeneity"

Calc 3 is a big time-sink, so consider how much you'll have time for next semester. I regularly did at least two hours of studying or homework for it each day (though that's just me -- I'm naturally a bad student and learn slowly so I think I take more time than an average person).

Linear algebra is fun and easy, and is a neat side of math that you don't get to experience until college even though matrices are incredibly useful in application. Intro stats will be very fun and relatively easy as long as you can memorize a couple formulas. It'll really open your eyes to how statistics can be manipulated in the scientific world to give false or misleading conclusions.
