My list left out DLC bosses (because you didn't have them), included a few notable non-boss enemies, and was in roughly chronological order.

Go eat some activated charcoal or something. Overdosing on oxy is no joke.

Spider Shield

That's all I'll say.

Verb, you should post quick updates to keep us informed, like, "hey I'm at Blighttown and want to kill myself".

Etc.

And that's why politics and legal proceedings shouldn't mix. They pushed for Murder 1 on a cop on duty. Murder 2 was doable and gets him off the streets. But... Nope. Gotta appease the mobs. And murder 1 wasn't possible. He'd have had to premeditated to kill him. He didn't. He wanted to have some lulz by rattling him up and went too far. Idiot prosecutors

Blaming Nero for the death would be like blaming a first responder for an ER doc's malpractice.

The guy had nothing to do with Gray's death.

2436
Nero was never going to get convicted for it; he barely touched the guy, and as a bike cop it wasn't his responsibility to secure the guy in the van. Of all the high-profile cases of black suspects being killed by police, this one stands out as being legitimate abuse, or at the very lease criminal negligence on the part of the officers. They put a handcuffed suspect sideways in the back of a metal van full of right angles, while he was complaining of difficulty breathing due to asthma (he was given his inhaler, but it's a possible cause of his unconsciousness leading to his fall).

Obviously someone did something wrong here which led to Gray's death, but it wasn't Nero.

Engaging in trade is what will open places like Cuba and Vietnam up.

Engaging in arms trade will open up Vietnam...to what, exactly? Lifting the embargo is a good thing, and is strategically important in preparing for a conflict with China, but you're acting like embargoes and sanctions aren't standard alternatives to occupation these days.

Not really, you're the one who's acting as if you have to occupy a place if you don't put an embargo on them.

I'm not

But k

The Flood / Re: Why are certain drugs banned for medical use?

Typically because there are more effective medications available that aren't just recreational drugs. There are already a few cannabinoid-based medications available, though.

Because it makes sense to keep in place an arms embargo 20 years after the Cold War ended.

It does, in the face of the Vietnamese government's numerous human rights violations. An embargo is a nice alternative to an invasion.

The only good thing about ska is that it all sounds the same, so you only have to listen to one song to know the genre's trash.

But...oh my God I'd be lying if I said I didn't tear up those last 10 minutes.  I've seen theories of Bran pretty much being a time traveler, so I'm not too upset at writing him in to "create" Hodor.  Still, I was pretty upset.

It just felt really contrived. Bran just randomly hops over to check out the Others' army, then gets grabbed, which is apparently some sort of mark, and that mark somehow nullifies all of the Children's magic, and I guess they were planning on Bran doing that because their army was already there...and yada yada yada, stuff happens, Bran and the three-eyed crow are just hanging out in past Winterfell for some reason, and Bran can warg into Hodor and use greensight at the same time, and there's a door in the tree apparently, etc. The whole scene was just kind of goofy and nonsensical.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the episode. I'm really looking forward to getting it right in the books, though.

I would still say no one should be lose credibility for their skin color, gender, etc.

Would you say a math student is a more reliable source of information about math than an arts student? Then wouldn't a woman generally (and not exclusively) be somewhat more reliable when talking about women's issues?

To be honest I'm not even if that comparison works all that well, but you get what I mean.

2445
Sure, but there's also a tendency for self-serving bias from the same group, and that's not specific to gender issues. Look at something like the wage gap: a notion that has largely been debunked, but is still highly contested because some people feel that it exists.

But in general, people with experience tend to have better-informed opinions and are more trustworthy in those areas.

CotF went full I Am Legend

Also, the wights are apparently just generic zombies now.

2447
That kingsmoot writing was the dumbest shit. They could've just copied it in the book.

Spoiler
>All main characters leave the wall
>"Don't let it fall while I'm gone"
>Edd and Jon share a moment before leaving

So the wall is definitely coming down this season.

They would combine to form a 4-dimensional human existing outside of space-time, where they would multiply exponentially and lead humanity into the next step of evolution.

Some asshat just invaded me and completely broke a quest line I was doing. How is this shit even allowed?

What happened? Invaders can't even interact with NPCs.

After he killed me an NPCs summon sign was gone and never showed up again. I continured on and got the Item I needed to complete the quest but fact remains that for some reason the summon sign was gone forever.

Who?

As far as I know, no summons are required to advance quests, except for the few where you're summoned by an NPC.

Ever considered the military? Serve four years, see some new places, get some experience and skills, then get your college paid for. There are tons of interesting jobs. You're a little on the older side, but it's not uncommon; plus, you seem to be in decent shape.

2453
Thinking of playing through these games soon, which one should I start with? I'm thinking I should go with 1, but my brother thinks 3 is easier and I should start with that. Any thoughts?

Doesn't really matter which order you play it in, but if you play 1 first you'll understand more of the lore and references, and have access to all the DLC. Don't start with 2.

At this point no amount of firefighters, manpower, or money will put out the fire. Whenever stuff like this happens, the country generally accepts a small amount of aid (or none), and graciously denies the rest.

It's like a Chinese family arguing over who gets to pay the bill at dinner.

Serious / Re: So, what was the big deal about Benghazi again?
« on: May 18, 2016, 05:34:14 PM »
The issue isn't really the lack of security, it's the aftermath of the attack during which the state department lied through its teeth about the cause and scope of the attack, denying that it was organized terrorism, ostensibly to protect the Obama presidential campaign (they ran the 'video riot' story for a month after the attack), and then threw lower staff members under the bus for the failures.
