Got it on X1 so my wife could play too, feel free to add me (and preferably send a message if your gamertag is different from your username so I know who you are).
wait does the game even have splitscreen?

No, we just pass the controller between matches. She sucks at shooters so she'd be destroyed on PC.

I really appreciate how all of my very vocal liberal friends on FB have become overnight UK political experts.
Why are you surprised? That always happens.

I'm not surprised. I'm mocking their echoing of sentiments they've seen from others without ever expressing an opinion on the subject prior to today.

"when you realize you may actually live through a global fascist period"

" '"People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.' "

Background checks already are universal- for FFL dealers.

Are there any statistics available detailing whether any mass shootings (or a significant amount of gun crimes) were perpetrated with weapons purchased by non-FFL dealers?

Basically, I'm just curious to see if that measure would even make a dent or if it's just more feel-good legislation.

Use the money you saved off the retail price and buy better parts?

Just open your camera and tap the 'beauty' icon, and you can adjust the level that it filters your pictures. All it does is blur the colors together, so I think it's kind of crappy.

A lot of phones automatically filter photos to make them look better. It's the default in the S6 and S7.

Why are you posting pics on 4chan?

Cartridges are superior to discs tbh, but this could just be referring to a 3DS version.
you really think this game will come out on 3DS?

Probably not, but it's not uncommon for them to release games on all of their platforms. I imagine they'll be using it to push the NX though.

Huh, I wouldn't have expected them to get rid of the impulse-buy money from flash sales.

I think it was due to a combination of customer frustration coupled with lost sales from people waiting for flash sales and ultimately not buying other deals.

For anyone on the pro-gun side (if that's what it can be called), what exactly is the opposition over universal background checks? I understand that it would place a burden on small dealers or individuals selling guns, but is that the only argument against them?

I also recognize that, as far as I'm aware, those background checks wouldn't have prevented any recent mass-shooter from obtaining weapons, but it just seems like a common sense law.

Just a reminder that all sale prices are fixed for the duration of the sale; flash and daily deals are gone, so there's no need to wait for a lower price. Don't forget to check for bundles that include a game you want for a potentially lower price, and remember that Steam wallet cards are 10% off, so you can load up a cart, go to a store and get close to the correct amount (they're sold in $10, $20, and $50 I believe) and save a bit extra if you're a legit peasant.

Quote
“For months, even for years, through seven sessions of Congress, I wondered, what would bring this body to take action?” Lewis said while Democrats slowly surrounded him at the microphone. “We have lost hundreds and thousands of innocent people to gun violence. Tiny little children. Babies. Students. And teachers. Mother and fathers. Sisters and brothers. Daughters and sons. Friends and neighbors. And what has this body done? Mr. Speaker, not one thing.”

They've also failed to present any sort of coherent plan. Ban scary black guns? Ban people on the no-fly list (zero due process or accountability) from buying guns? Ban magazines with lots of rounds?

I'm not particularly beholden to either camp, but the day guns are criminalized in America is the day would-be-mass-shooters realize it's incredibly easy to drive a car bomb through the front door of a crowded building. Reactionary politics is really little more than taking advantage of a tragic situation for an apparent moral/political highground, and it's repulsive.

I think some of you guys are confused about what constitutes pocket change.
what does it matter if it's infinite

I interpreted it as being able to buy stuff around $50 whenever you want, not just pulling out unlimited cash. Like if you went to the mall and found something you want, you could just buy it.
