Don't see the issue with this really, if I remember right unemployment for Muslim women was a tad bit higher than the average, and if it means more people join up I'm all for it.
We have an official uniform for a reason.
And now it's been amended. Historically, allowing European immigrants into the police force is largely what allowed them to integrate into American society in the early 90s; this should be seen as a good thing by anyone that recognizes the growing trend of radicalization in the country.

I'm also starting to play Reinhardt a little more and I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. He's so much fun to play. Slamming the hammer down into the ground and then charging into all the downed enemies is fun as shit and Reinhardt laughing like a madman just makes it even better.
Reinhardt is bae The only thing that would make him more fun is if you could carry more than one person while charging.

you lied turkey
that last fight was piss easy
It was pretty tough on insanity for me.
what's the difference between hardcore and insanity? like, a step or a huge lunge?
because hardcore wasn't all that difficult; the only time i downed the difficulty was fighting kai leng, because fuck him
I'm not sure what specifically is different, but enemies spam grenades so you can't hide, you'll die if you're exposed (and the enemies aren't distracted by squadmates) for more than a second -- another reason why the spacebar run/cover thing is terrible -- all enemies have at least one layer of defense (even basic enemies like Husks have armor, Geth have shields, etc). Even playing with the game-breaking Black Widow X with a sniper-oriented Infiltrator it would take what seemed like 10 headshots to take down Banshees alone. I pointed out that last fight in particular because I just played it a few days ago, and I recall it being very frustrating because after the cutscene I was spawned in the middle of the area and two of the banshees were already extremely close. Both teammates would immediately die and be useless since they'd die again as soon as I used Unity. I basically just cheated by using cloak over and over until the missile launcher was ready.

It tastes good, but the thought of using acidic, emulcified fat as a condiment is just a bit gross.

When you exploit concepts like S&D, a perversion of absolute value is what you get.
"Absolute value" doesn't exist in any codified, meaningful system. It's entirely subjective, though organized and standardized via economic systems. It's like arguing calculus is wrong because it's a human-designed system of expressing reality, rather than an "absolute" or "universal" system; integrals and derivatives certainly don't exist outside of our system of mathematics, and neither does the value of gold (though gold does have myriad applications in industry). That doesn't make assigning values to these things meaningless or stupid.

Just because people want or "demand" something doesn't mean it has value.
An ounce of gold is worth ~$1300 according to the economist. In reality, the value of gold is 0.
Boy do I hate this buzzword, but that is an exceedingly reductionist way to interpret economics and value.

economists know the price of everything, but the value of nothing
tbh this feels like a variation on the whole "not book smart, but street smart" thing, which is just a defense of ignorance.

Plato is more of an authority on Socrates, but reading both accounts of the Apology give a broader understanding of the man and his philosophy. I think Xenophon is easier to understand than Plato, though.
If you haven't read Republic, and are a student of philosophy, you ought to begin there.

Not perfect, no, but on a relative scale it's probably the highest quality movie you can see right now, and it's barely getting any attention. It's made by Laika, the 3D stop-motion studio that made Coraline, Paranorman, Box Trolls, and Corpse Bride. The story is pretty simple (it is a kid's movie, and that's reflected in its depth), but the attention to detail is really solid, and the action is surprisingly well-done and visceral (a scene in the very beginning involving head trauma was almost nauseatingly realistic).
Anyways, if you're a proponent of theaters and films in general, I really recommend you go see this in the theaters and support this studio. They're one of the few studios left making kid-oriented animation that doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator.

But there's two camps--those who actually care, and want to see the medium improve on an artistic level (feminists), and those who don't, and just want to see the industry regress even further into heteronormativity (morons).
Who are the latter? The bulk of his video discusses how games have moved away from sexist tropes; sure, he says there are people that criticize games like Gears of War as "gay" for adding emotional depth, but where are they? Like I said before, if his only targets for criticism exist on 4chan or YouTube comments, he's aiming pretty low...almost as low as people like SoA stereotyping feminists based on tumblr troll accounts, for example. It's just a weak video with a weak message. Kratos is a more relatable character than Bayonetta because Bayonetta already knows a few of the characters in the game? Come on. Claiming that she would be a stronger character if she were less sexual, is itself a form of objectification.

He seemed to lose his thesis throughout the video, eventually contradicting himself by talking about how far storyless action games have come and how fans really do desire less sexual exploitation and power fantasy over meatheads and bimbos. where's the contradiction
that was his point from the beginning
He presents the current state of the medium as highly exploitative, with a fanbase that doesn't care (or often supports it), when in reality it isn't, and the supposed large Bayonetta-as-feminism crowd basically doesn't even exist, and has largely been fabricated by vloggers.

And really, the generic alt-right/anti-feminist arguments he presents here really are the lowest hanging fruits he could go for. It feels like neither side really has an interest in understanding what the other is saying.

Is there a reason he always cites the length of each video in their titles?
Originally they were typically very short, like 2-3 minutes, and the title was emphasizing that. Eventually they became more popular and decided to increase their length. The "x in y minutes or less" format was popular at the time, and they stuck with it. OT: I like their videos, though I tend to skip through some parts. They point out tropes and their meta jokes can be pretty fun when unexpected. Obviously they're not legitimately critiquing stuff. Folks that get butthurt about their misinterpretation of the plot don't seem to understand the point of the channel.

Unfortunately it's not fixed in ME3
Surely you can just disable acceleration/dampening in the .ini folder?
Or were you referring to the key mapping?
Yeah, the spacebar thing.

I love the scene where Tuco builds his gun. It's just a fun bit that I haven't really seen in any other film before.
The Man with No Name is a killer trilogy.
