Your teetotalism has gone too far.

Transwomen aren't female, though.

But similarly, the U.S. military will pay for the transition surgery for servicemembers. It's not too big of a deal -- obviously it disqualifies that person from specific duties permanently or temporarily, though.

It's not a cult, it's just a typical old-guy's club. There's nothing secretive about them.

1. "I didn't do anything wrong"
2. "The other driver is at fault"
3. "Talk to my insurance company"

Your script for the next few weeks. In general you should call the cops when this happens, even if you hit the other car, so there's a record of exactly what damage was done. For all you know this guy's scamming you, went home and decided to charge your insurance out the ass for something you didn't cause.

tbh this is why page/word requirements are terrible for essay assignments. It's obvious that page is just filler, and the prompt itself sounds incredibly boring. Maybe encourage him to be more creative with his prompts in general. When I was writing essays in college I'd often pick a thesis contrary to what I believed to challenge myself to learn how to express new ideas and consider alternative choices.

Even the early seasons of American Dad are pretty good. It's leaps and bounds more clever than Family Guy, though I wouldn't ridicule someone for liking low-brow comedy. Sometimes dumb humor is the funniest.

Yeah, I like the dry, conversational humor much more than Family Guy's or American Dad's sketch/slapstick humor. The latter two are both funny shows in their own respects, though overdone.

Serious / Cop fired for not killing an armed suspect

Quote
We’ve tracked countless cases here where cops were able to keep their jobs after killing unarmed people, killing people after responding to the wrong house, killing people and then lying about it . . . the list goes on.

Give the Weirton, W.Va., police chief some credit. He’s come up with a new spin on the the same problem. He just fired a cop for not killing someone.

After responding to a report of a domestic incident on May 6 in Weirton, W.Va., then-Weirton police officer Stephen Mader found himself confronting an armed man.

Immediately, the training he had undergone as a Marine to look at “the whole person” in deciding if someone was a terrorist, as well as his situational police academy training, kicked in and he did not shoot.

“I saw then he had a gun, but it was not pointed at me,” Mr. Mader recalled, noting the silver handgun was in the man’s right hand, hanging at his side and pointed at the ground.

Mr. Mader, who was standing behind Mr. Williams’ car parked on the street, said he then “began to use my calm voice.”

“I told him, ‘Put down the gun,’ and he’s like, ‘Just shoot me.’ And I told him, ‘I’m not going to shoot you brother.’ Then he starts flicking his wrist to get me to react to it.

“I thought I was going to be able to talk to him and deescalate it. I knew it was a suicide-by-cop” situation.

[...]

As it turns out, Williams’s gun wasn’t loaded. There’s no way any of the police officers could have known that. But it does show that Mader had read Williams correctly — he wasn’t actually a threat to anyone but himself. His life could have been saved.

The only way to be a good cop is to not be one, apparently.

The Flood / Re: just saw Sully

Their depiction of the NTSB is the biggest criticism, though. They weren't incompetent or adversarial; they called the pilots heroes throughout the investigation, and there's no truth in the scenario that Sullenberger had to tell them what parameters to use for the simulation.
Yeah, I know. Hence why it's "based" on a true story. Even if the NTSB did their job flawlessly in real life, I would hate to see that in a movie. They're the government, and their depiction should be a negative one.

No need for the truth if it doesn't fit your reality, huh?

Still, there needed to be someone to be the antagonists. It was a fantastic movie, otherwise.

Upgraded to a trading Python. I can go for an Anaconda but I want to land on outposts. Can anyone with Horizons comment on whether it's worth getting? I hear the engineer content is mostly grinding for minimal bonuses.

Sci fi was really lacking in the "artificial intelligence turns evil" plots, so it's good to see them milking it for all it's worth.

As Governor, there were many things I didn’t know off the top of my head. But I succeeded by surrounding myself with the right people, getting to the bottom of important issues, and making principled decisions. It worked. That is what a President must do.
Good enough of a recovery for me, really.  I'm still #feelingtheJohnson.

The army has pretty much drilled in to my head that "I don't know the answer but I can find it in this TM/FM/DA PAM" is always a correct response.

I just give em the ol' butter bar shrug

He failed to consider potential consequences, which resulted in catastrophic loss of life, but he's morally in the clear?
OP is pretty clear that he couldn't have possibly foreseen the consequences.

Oops, reading comprehension

Seems like a dubious premise.

1882
Morally, the man is pretty much in the clear.

Whether he should be legally is another question, and the answer is he should probably face some consequences.

He failed to consider potential consequences, which resulted in catastrophic loss of life, but he's morally in the clear?

I'm all for developers taking their time and pushing dates back, but such a consistent series of delays doesn't bode well for the game, and for what we've seen so far it hardly seems like the game does anything extraordinary to justify such a long wait.

People can live their lives however they want. Teetotalism is often a respectable conviction. I don't condone hard drugs and support moderation or abstaining from alcohol and smoking anyway.

Single origin beans through a burr grinder, into a French press. Black if sipping at home, bit of creme or sweetener if it's the morning brew meant to be chugged.

Vivec finds that his body had been tenderly treated, even though Molag Bal's "love" comes in the form of a spear which he himself claims to be accidental. They took out their spears and Vivec bit words into Molag Bal's "spear" and even bit a chunk off of said "spear" whilst teaching him "Belly magic." Meanwhile all bystanding creatures did their own biting and the earth became wet.

I wonder how different the situation would be if this line was going through white people land like a town or a group of peoples yards.
Pretty massive. One need only look at Flint Michigan to see how slow they are to respond to minorities.

It's really the opposite. Pipelines routinely run through towns and private property by way of eminent domain; the only thing really holding this pipeline back is the issue of its interference with a First Nation burial ground. The minority status is exactly what's controversial about the pipeline.

I play Pharah, Mercy, D.Va or Reinhardt. Most of those don't tend to get POTG.
You are not playing aggressively enough most likely. Environmental kills will net potg for pharah. Mercy a 3 rez or higher. DVa lucky ult. Rein a good Earthshatter-firestrike-charge, in that order.
I've gotten POTGs with D.Va, but the others are good points. I like Reinhardt, but I definitely haven't figured him out yet.
Get someone who is a godly dps to watch your back. That lets you play with way more freedom. Cause you can only heal so much stupid. Easier to dps out of a shit situation.
Yeah, it's a bit hard because I've just been PUGing through the weekend. Friends who own Overwatch are busy, those that don't have no interest in it.

I've discovered that the biggest problem with Reinhardt is that nobody will gET BEHIND THE BIG BLUE RECTANGLE WHAT THE FUCK

As a Lucio main, I've been burned too many times by Reinhardts dropping their shield to fire or charging at someone to rely much on the shield. And when it drops with several people using it, that spot becomes too vulnerable to ults or explosions.
