Jive's suggestion trades one addiction for another, truth be told.
That's legitimately how addiction is treated, though. Quitting chemical addictions cold-turkey can sometimes be fatal (and is very often unsuccessful), so a lot of rehab programs first attempt to substitute the fatal addiction for a more beneficial one. Working out is pretty common. A new response to stressors is the key. Edit: Oh, you meant bodybuilding, like potentially unhealthy weight loss and such (I presume).

Biggest disappointment for me was probably Rogue One. Suicide Squad was awful, but everyone expected it.

How often do you get them because I only ever got one.
Does having an old account do something at all?
Still get desticles offering to buy my account every now and then. I've gotten three on B.net and two via message on XBL. All it gives them are a few emblems, as far as I know. They're rare, but not particularly flashy.

itt: "boy am i glad these ANIMALS did this because it enforces my racist notions"
"i am more concerned about vague racism on a backwater spin off a video game forum than I am of a mentally handicapped boy being sadistically tortured"
glad to know your priorities fampai. now please get back to sapphire so you can continue to rim your buttbro Harlow.
It's not a zero-sum game. One can be simultaneously annoyed at the rampant casual racism among this demographic, as well as disgusted by torturing another person because they hold opposing views.

Do you think we might see these kinds of systems popping up outside of China in the future?
Guilty serious response: credit scores in western countries are disturbingly similar to this, and I don't think it's unlikely that other, less quantitative factors may eventually factor in like social media posts, performance evals from work, or even reviews from "qualified individuals" a la Black Mirrors "Nosedive". It seems important to be aware of these and push back against any attempt to implement any sort of rating systems of the public, either public or private. I'm interested to see if this system will be implemented in Hong Kong, given its radical differences from the rest of China.

Just finished 1-1 and killed Phalanx. For Souls fans that haven't played it, it's similar to 2/3/Bloodborne in that it has a central Nexus with 5 separate worlds with 3-4 levels each, which can be tackled in any order after the first area, 1-1, which is basically Undead Burg.
My starting class is Royalty, because I always like to start as a pyro to experience a good mix of dex and magic the first time around, and this is the closest to pyro in DS. I killed the demon in the tutorial pretty easily with the starting spell. And I accidentally rolled off the top floor of the nexus after killing the boss, so now I'm back in soul form, which blows.

Because they feel their race or sex has been (and continues to be) historically oppressed by white males. They don't believe only their sex or race should be in power, just that they should be equally represented.

Fuck that. Go to the doctor and do whatever paperwork you need to do. Scumbag boss.
for what its worth i dont think hes trying to get out of paying me or anything
theres no way i can find out whats wrong with my foot and if its serious file for comp after the fact?
Go to the doctor in your network, get reimbursed for your copay if they charge one, and file for comp if it results in loss of time.
copay? whats that
When you go to a doctor in your insurance plan, you typically pay a fee for examinations, services, or prescriptions. Like $20-50.
oh okay. ill probably need xrays.
Is there light duty stuff you can do at work? Maybe run the cash register or phone or something? I had basically the same incident occur working at a grocery store (hairline fracture on the arch of my foot, but not a break) and refusing to let it heal will just make things worse.

Maybe I'm the only one annoyed by this, but so frequently people just post breaking or trending news stories, copy the article, and provide little to no insight or opinion. Meta is probably the biggest offender right now, though he's certainly not alone and he sometimes provides additional sources for consideration.
Only ten of the 30 threads on the current front page are not simply walls of text with a huge article quoted below a source link, and about 3 of those are basically the same as what I'm talking about, and roughly half of those ten are just shitposts.
I get that everyone wants activity, but maybe we should be trying to have real discussions instead of just posting flippant responses to whatever news is currently breaking?

VR could become much more mainstream with this, because not everyone wants to pay 7000 sek for an Oculus Rift, but I once saw VR goggles for 300 sek in some random shop magazine. This means that you buy those goggles, buy the service, and then start up some VR wherever you are.
The headset isn't what processes the game though, you still need a computer or console for that. The $800 for an Oculus Rift (or whatever it is) doesn't include any hardware to actually run the games; the headset itself just streams video and uses onboard accelerometers to detect motion. That $300 set you saw probably has significantly less graphical and control capability than the OR. nVidia's streaming wouldn't reduce costs for VR at all.

Where are you working? 3 months seems really early to ask for a raise, especially if that was a probationary period.
small engine shop
its weird that you say that though. every person i ask about this irl says 3 months for your first raise, and then once a year after that
Maybe if they lowballed your salary when you were hired, sure. I could see asking for a $2-3 raise, but just realize that asking for $20 is almost a 50% increase, and you probably should have negotiated harder if that's what you were making in a similarly skilled job before this one. If you're not getting any benefits you can leverage that too.
What are more senior guys at the shop making?
i am getting benefits, just fyi.
theres only about 5 of us, and i cant imagine my boss is making any more than 30 or 40 an hour. one of the guys whos been here a year, who i am just as skilled as, is making 20. the other guy is making 22.
Hmm, you could probably get away with asking for $20 based on your skill, but expect a counter offer. Skill can be tricky because it sounds like it's still technically "unskilled" work (i.e., no degree or trade school required), and if costs get too high he could just hire someone new to replace you (despite the learning curve and your obvious skill). idk though. You really have to feel the culture of the shop to know; if it sounds like asking for a raise is the norm, definitely go for it.

Picked it up on PC. Pretty solid campaign this time around; I appreciate that the titan fights are kept to a minimum and that the levels are packed full of fun climbing and wallrunning segments (even when they don't really make sense). I don't remember if TF1 did the same, but being able to swap loadouts instantly in the campaign (I assume you cannot do this in MP) is really fun, though I still question the lack of necessity to collect ammo. I know it slows down the gameplay, but it's pretty absurd to keep reloading a giant rocket launcher with unlimited ordnance. The game needs more melee options, though.

That's not really a surprise when radical Islam is at an all-time high, and Jews doesn't have a sizable population except in Western countries and Israel, but this doesn't justify the silly persecution complex a lot of well-off American Christians have, if that was your intent in posting this.
