Baccano! No tropes, solid animation, great English voice acting (and not just the same Funimation crew), only one season, a story driven by really fun and unique characters, and a good mix of humor and drama. Edit: nvm, you chose Cowboy Bebop.

Halo 2 is my favorite, and is probably the best for its monumental impact on multiplayer. I also enjoyed the ending, but I think that's a minority opinion. I'd probably rank the original trilogy as equal for varying reasons.

I'm not a fan of speculation amidst anonymous sources and ongoing investigation, and this just sounds really odd. I'm failing to see how this means the IG's office wouldn't be considered a "safe, legal, responsible" channel for whistleblowing. So the guy didn't get a job there; maybe he wasn't qualified, or there was some sort of conflict of interest clause? And even if the claim is factual, Snowden's leak was still morally dubious and ill-conceived now that he's living out a self-imposed exile/imprisonment in America's biggest intelligence rival instead of, say, being denied a certain job somewhere. Yeah, fuck a watchdog IG being petty against whistleblowers, but he's out of a job and the process is progressing.

Seems like it really jumped the shark this time around. It's been getting progressively cheesier and cliche, especially with the garbage plotline with Mary, but at this point it's basically Sad Doctor Who. They treat the original Arthur Conan Doyle stories as jokes, essentially (the first episode had him solving dozens with single text messages). Mary's story gets even more unbelievable and uninteresting. The audience has no hope of solving the mystery with the characters, as it's a jumbled mess until it's solved in the last 5 minutes with a quick stream of exposition.
Episodes 1 and 2 are 4/10 so far. At least Martin Freeman is fun to watch.

Stop going to these movies. Even if you're kind of interested in them in a car-accident-witness sort of way, just don't. Pirate them or watch them on Netflix or Redbox if you feel morally obligated to financially support the downfall of cinema. Make 2017 the year you stop supporting reboots, sequels, remakes, movies based off of kids' toys, comic book movies, and generally unoriginal ideas. Go see weird indie movies, low-budget character dramas, and original films.

Am I missing something or does this entire story really just relies on the word of a random anon saying that he fed this information to Buzzfeed well after the fact? Because if so, I'm going to be even more skeptical about this than I am about the Trump implications.
The original 4chan post about the piss is in November, so either early drafts of this were circulated by the news and some anon decided to take credit, or that part is true and you can disregard that paragraph of the report, at least. It is deeply hypocritical how the media is treating this, immediately after a month-long stink about fake news -- not that many actually give a shit about anything but posting headlines that get page views.

Got an old iPad from my parents and I'm going to use it for .cbr and ebooks, but goddamn Apple sucks at designing operating systems. It doesn't have a file browser (unlike virtually every other mobile device in existence), meaning you have to download an appropriate app, connect to iTunes, access that app from the program, and load individual files -- not folders -- directly into the app. Deleting the app, of course, deletes these files.
What the fuck were they thinking, that nobody using an iPad would have a need to sort files? That effectively means apps can't share files. What an unbelievably asinine way to design a tablet. And it has no native apps for viewing pdfs or other common documents.

He hasn't announced any kind of foreign policy yet I'm just going off speculation. I see it as a viable deal in return for the guaranteed sovereignty of the Eastern Euros

A more apt and suitable punishment would be tossing him in a prison with a bunch of Tyrone's until his arsehole is capable of whistling.
He showed no remorse, says he still believes it was right, and made no attempt to defend against the death penalty. I'd be surprised if he survives until his execution date.
