Welcome to 2004 netcode.
*facepalm*

Stop sitting on 343's dick for like two seconds at least. This shit rarely occurred back during the Halo 2 days, I am assuming you did not play it. 343 rushed this shit, probably because of Microsoft and because they wanted to release it on the anniversary of Halo 2.

I am tired of companies rushing shit out and patching it later though after they already take your money.
Well, actually, if you took the time to read the rest of my posts you wouldn't have needed to be such an ass to me.

And you're telling me stuff I already know and agree with.

'Dat prejudice.

Welcome to 2004 netcode.

Also, this is why hitmarkers aren't a bad thing.

It's because 343 used vista instead of the xbox port.

Oh shit. Well that sucks. But I do see why they did that.

I dont like it due to the fact that it has no effect on the Rest of the Halo Universe and no payoff.
The final Second Story actually implies there are still significant quantities of the element in existence.

Also, is it necessarily a bad thing it didn't affect universe directly? Is that not one of the complaints received regarding how the player supposedly required external knowledge to fully understand Halo 4's story?

934
No it god damn doesn't.

I tried playing with Smi today and it was literally the most frustrating god damn thing I've had to deal with.
Good fucking luck trying to bring a party into matchmaking, motherfucker, because you'll be separated into different lobbies or fight on the opposite team.

The fucking thing can't even tell if I'm in the same game as a lobby mate more than half the time.
Heh. Almost as if the netcode is targeting those who are malcontent with 343i. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

>TFW Chief has no Smart AI

Yeah. It's actually getting there. It's improved enough that they're bringing back the correct team sizes and the removed playlists. What your seeing here is just outdated netcode, and possibly spotty internet on CMD's end.

937
Yeah I did see that one. I can only guess it has to do with Halo's transition to dedicated servers, especially since these games were designed with host based matches (excluding Halo CE's and H2A's MP)

I've noticed that the wonky hit detection never happens on CE and H2A. How about you?

For me the hit detection is at it's absolute worst in CE. Me and a  guy were constantly beaming each other in the head with Sniper Rifles without the slightest amount of damage until he finally stood still and I killed him.

in H2A the hit dectection feels like Destiny were it's delayed but dammage still applies.
Ah, yes.

I forgot about that. I've adjusted to that already. That's thanks to Halo CE's PC netcode. It does actually add a skillgap even though its a annoying as hell.

It this realy what "Muh Glory Daiz" were like? If so I relay can't see why anyone dislikes Reach as opposed to this.
Yeah. I don't know about Halo 2, never really played online, but Halo 3's netcode is just as beautiful as it was in 2007 (albeit more consistent thanks to dedis). So I can only imagine it's the same with Halo 2.

Halo 3. Because Halo 2 was a mistake that Bungie made because they were overly ambitious. See, the crazy thing is that the Halo 2 we got was pulled together in only a year. Where as Halo 3 had much, much better management, but still messed up more.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that Bungie thinks that random elements add excitement. Which is actually really curious because Jason Jones is all about player empowerment. In fact, he said one of his biggest regrets on CE was not properly balancing the ghosts shooting mechanics.

Which is really, really weird because the Shrike's shooting mechanics is actually balanced in a way he mentioned. Meaning he definitely was involved in Destiny's development. But then you've got the loot system.

Which is a total head scratcher, especially since it was bad enough for a Blizzard dev to publicly call out Bungie on their crappy system.

Oh god.... that Halo 5 abomination, pretty accurate of what is likely to happen.
Yes because unbalanced starts and introducing overly random elements is better than equal starts with equal traits.

I'm more so worried about the logicality of your claims.

Series started off slow and bad, but actually got quite good towards the end.

So, the thing with the Lekgolo we see in Nightfall is that they are not normal. Don't know how to access the full description, but part of the description for the Lekgolo Sunrise emblem states that it's a never before seen strain of Lekgolo.

Even more curious that the Second Story that involves the Pillar of Autumn's recon drone, talks about how there is a biomass signature that is underneath the entire shard. And they mention that whatever it is, was locked up before Alpha Halo was destroyed, and they ask the question of why.

So, this brings me to the unique fact that Lekgolo colonies cannot be assimilated by the Flood (biologically they can, but not neurologically). Then there curiously enough, is the enormous Forerunner Orbital around Te that was large enough to create a ring around the planet when broken down.

Sounds to me like the Forerunners were doing some experiments with the Lekgolo.

It literally couldn't be more true than what it already is.
Wan't me to disillusion you?

Yes.
Well, let's start off with the fact that Halo 4 Chief is shown to be drunk the entire time. That makes literally no sense at all when you look at Halo 4 and compare it to the previous games. Yes, I do think he should have a drinking problem in the satire, but not be drunk. Why? Because despite Halo 4's flaws and mistakes it made, it still had a solid story, and shooter mechanics. The last time the guns in Halo were as accurate, consistent, and powerful as in Halo 4, was in Halo 2. (Maybe it would actually make more sense if Halo 4 was manic.)

Probably completely irrelevant to the points I'm trying to make, but the Elite design they chose for the party attendants is wrong. They were obviously going for the Halo 3 Elites, but they managed to screw up by placing the teeth on the mandibles so they were facing inward a-la Halo 4. If you look at Halo 3 Elites, you'll notice that despite the Mandibles, the teeth are arranged like our teeth our.

Microsoft says to Halo 2 about why Halo 4 is included in the MCC makes no sense. The intent behind the MCC was not to try and convince people these four games are equal, it was to provide a jumping on point for the franchise because a new console is out, and Halo 5 is coming soon. It allows fans who maybe didn't get a chance to play all the main Halo games the ability to do so. It brings a vast and epic space opera, where most gamers would not go out of their ways to play all of them, together.

In fact, the what Microsoft says is about as logical as the idiot Halo extremists who were complaining that Halo 4 is in the MCC. Like holy shit, you actually are asking for less content in a game want to undermine what the MCC sets out to do? /mini rant

Next though we have the fact that Halo 2 is a winy little kid, and Halo 3 is the wise grizzled agent. Which makes no sense at all because not only did Halo 2 come out before Halo 3, but Halo 3 is a mess of a game that failed in nearly everything it set out to do. Inconsistent gunplay, illogical campy story, lazy animations (apparently Brute Power Armor is actually paper mache that atomizes when coming into contact with bullets, rigor mortis also appears to set in as soon as your vehicle hits a Covenant), and noobified enemies.

Halo 2 on the other hand should be older and more wise. At the same time tough, it should be paralyzed for the fact that a third of the game is missing, and that it has aim assist out the wazoo. And despite this, it still manages to be a better game than Halo 3.

In conclusion on that aspect, the Halo that consoles Halo 4 on top of the base should have been Halo CE.

Lastly, on the topic of Halo 5's portrayal as being an aborted fetus begging to be killed. That makes no sense for the fact that Halo 5 is going to be Halo's first equal starts arena shooter in 5 goddamn years. Not just that, but it's being designed with competitive aspects in mind, and the reticle screen position is going back to the center of the screen, which is the first time it's been like that in 14 years. Also, Halo 5 is going to have a legit beta that isn't a thinly disguised marketing ploy. Of course, the game is a year out, and it may turn out to be total shit, but right now, things are looking up.

And that's why this piece of satire is not true at all.

Needless to say, that doesn't detract from how entertaining it was.

It's just another way of them saying how much they love you. Part of it is that the child never loves their parents as much as parents love their child.

I see it akin to how I want to constantly love the shit out of my dog, but he's like, "No, I ain't havin' none of that."

Also, Halo CE chief should have been the one to say that to Halo 4 Chief, not Halo 3 Chief.

In fact, it doesn't really make much sense because Halo 3 Chief sounds and acts older than Halo 2 Chief.

...or am I simply over analyzing?

Holy crap, are those explosions a result of the laser, or is it hitting explosive targets?

Also, now Halo is going to get retconned more so humans "always" had laser weaponry. They did it with railguns, they'll do it with this. Obviously the Spartan Laser is the pinnacle of human laser tech, but still.
