People say the election was rigged on the Democratic side. Not really, just heavily biased in favor of Clinton. It doesn't help that you have a corporate news media, where some including Time Warner (CNN's parent company) gave money to Clinton. The way the Associated Press declared Clinton the presumptive nominee before the California primary is just one example of corruption in media and their influence on the way people vote.

I understand that everyone is pissed off at the current nominees for President. No one wants to vote for the lesser of two evils, but there currently is no choice but to vote for the lesser of two evils, which is undoubtedly Clinton. It's not going to be Gary, and it's not going to be Jill. The media simply will not give them the same amount of attention that they will give Clinton and Trump. There are also Bernie supporters who are saying they will write in "Bernie Sanders" instead of voting for Clinton. Really really bad idea.
In 2000 the race between Gore and Bush was really close. Apparently Gore wasn't good enough for almost 3 million voters and went with Ralph Nader. Those votes could have prevented 8 years of Bush.
We need to put our frustrations with the establishment to the side, sober up, and realize that Hillary is the only logical choice. She may not bring about change right now, but at least with her there's an opportunity for incremental change.

Hence "Crooked Hillary" Is anyone surprised at this point? It's a wonder how people support her without referencing Trump.
It's the only reason to support her. If Cruz or Kaisch somehow got the nomination, I'd be voting for them.
>Not wanting to watch Trump meme the establishment
Trump's policies would benefit corporate America and not the middle-class, despite his attempts to appear populist/anti-establishment. Not to mention no one really knows where he stands on most issues because he keeps changing his mind every five minutes.

Kasich was pretty shitty too despite his whole "Look at me I'm a moderate and not crazy" thing. He was still way far on the right.

Have not heard of her. Is she like in the green party or something?
Laughably terrible candidate. Probably worse than Hillary or Trump.

I don't like the attacks either, but the reaction isn't that surprising. I can understand their frustration and anger. It's just unfortunate that these kinds of protests are often used by the media to create more anger and more division in America.

How dare they point out to me that buying animal products contributes to the suffering and death and animals. How dare they make me feel uncomfortable about my unethical lifestyle choices. Just who do they think they are?"

I honestly don't know who is worse.
Clinton is epitome of a corrupted politician, a warmonger, a flip-flop artist and a fake progressive. She has the entire Democratic establishment and the corporate media on her side because they know she'll maintain the status-quo. She's also in love with disastrous regime-change and her role in ousting Libyan leader Gaddafi resulted in a vacuum for ISIS to flourish in the region.
Trump's policies would benefit corporate America and not the middle-class despite him trying to build his reputation around being "non-establishment"--his energy is misdirected at Mexico and China and literally uses the "They're takin our jerbs" argument. He's also a climate change denier--he'll let corporations run amok and destroy the planet, which I think is the most dangerous part about Trump.

These anti-theists like Sam Harris and Dawkins are identical to the religious. Instead of worshipping god, they worship scientific materialism. For people who like to go on about how science doesn't have all the answers, they seem to be extremely dogmatic about empiricism being the only correct way to draw conclusions about the nature of existence. I personally don't believe in God, but my head isn't so far up my own ass as to say I have the correct tools and philosophy in which to make conclusions about reality while discarding every other form of enquiry as pseudoscience.

I'm probably the only one here that likes him.
He's one of the only left-leaning show hosts that doesn't piss me off.
John Stewart was funnier, IMO.
Kinda weird how both Stewart and Colbert left their shows right before the election season started.

Some old guy on a bike called me an asshole because I almost hit him. He was riding on the wrong side of the road while I was turning right onto the street and my view was blocked by a wall. Sure he was in the bike lane, but he was going the complete wrong direction. Cyclists seem to think it's perfectly okay to do this and not follow the rules of the road.
