muting only serves to help cowards hide from their problems with other users instead of dealing with them
Don't be stupid. If someone is flat out dumber than you, harasses you, and won't be taught or reasoned with then muting is perfectly acceptable. Like it or not this is a text based environment and it isn't as easy to tune out text as it is speech. It just sits there. Constantly, forevermore.
That's what moderators are supposed to be useful for. In a well moderated site, harassment doesn't go unnoticed and is dealt with quickly.

Brain Cancer 1. A study published in the British Journal of Cancer, conducted by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Complutense University in Madrid, this study determined that Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other cannabinoids inhibit tumour growth. They were responsible for the first clinical study aimed at assessing cannabinoid antitumoral action. Cannabinoid delivery was safe and was achieved with zero psychoactive effects. THC was found to decrease tumour cells in two out of the nine patients.
2. A study published in The Journal of Neuroscience examined the biochemical events in both acute neuronal damage and in slowly progressive, neurodegenerative diseases. They conducted a magnetic resonance imaging study that looked at THC (the main active compound in marijuana) and found that it reduced neuronal injury in rats. The results of this study provide evidence that the cannabinoid system can serve to protect the brain against neurodegeneration.
3. A study published in The Journal of Pharmacology And Experimental Therapeutics already acknowledged the fact that cannabinoids have been shown to possess antitumor properties. This study examined the effect of cannabidiol (CBD, non psychoactive cannabinoid compound) on human glioma cell lines. The addition of cannabidiol led to a dramatic drop in the viability of glioma cells. Glioma is the word used to describe brain tumour. The study concluded that cannabidiol was able to produce a significant antitumor activity.
4. A study published in the journal Molecular Cancer Therapeutics outlines how brain tumours are highly resistant to current anticancer treatments, which makes it crucial to find new therapeutic strategies aimed at improving the poor prognosis of patients suffering from this disease. This study also demonstrated the reversal of tumour activity in Glioblastoma multiforme.

You were a baby once. Please tell me you're using that argument ironically.
I guess so.

Sometimes. A large part of how drugs affect you stems from what your mental state was prior to taking them.
You can get paranoid from something as simple as beer if you're already set up for it.
I want to be able to enjoy weed but I keep having bad experiences. For example, I had only two hits from a blunt and my heart started racing, and as I become aware of this it only snowballed the anxiety effect to the point where I just had to sit in the shower and wait for it to go away.
I... don't know. Maybe you just need to work at it. If you can't relax while stoned in the shower, where can you relax?
Not all experiences have been bad, but it's really easy for me to smoke more than I can handle, and it just becomes a negative thing. I have smoked about 10 times in my life.

I'm just curious. Apparently only some people have had negative reactions to weed like paranoia, anxiety and fast heart rate. Have you had any bad experiences?

Not sure if i should be hyped or not. Feels kind of fan made.
Star Wars is so apart of popular culture that it's impossible to make a new Star Wars without it being some kind of tribute to the originals. The prequels had that problem too.

There are no black people in Star Wars.

Do you have an interest in moving to the US? f so, what state and city would you move to? If not, would you at least want to visit?
I'll be spending a year studying in the U.S. as part of my BA degree. It'll probably be California.
I have actually thought about emigrating.
Is there a particular city in CA that you're planning on going to?
