Undoubtedly.

And yet, here is another prime example of one.

There's nothing wrong with hunting, especially safari hunting, if the prey is not of an endangered species.
killing animals for any reason is wrong.

Though you've never actually taken any hallucinogens?
Never have. I'm just interested in the topic.

I should've said "Key to a better understanding of reality" or something to that effect.
Oh, okay, that's not as stupid.

It's even DUMBER. Wow, guy.
I'm merely presenting what many others have reported. It's not really up to me or you to say that's dumb, because I'm sure that neither of us has actually experimented with hallucinogens.

It is true that experiencing at least one trip can have a significant change in your view of life and reality. If you chose the right substance, the right environment, with the right people, its usually always a positive one.
It's such a shame that it's so taboo to talk about, no one's really having discussions on psychedelics unless you look hard enough.

I wonder how quickly there will be another attack on this country without the Patriot Act.
If it happens, it'll just serve as another wake-up call as to why the act is so important in the first place.

The only ones are internet and sugar/soda addictions.
Sugar is probably one of the most addictive psychoactive drugs in the world, but no one thinks of it that way because it's considered food and it's in practically everything.

I can sort of see the logic behind the argument that killing animals is wrong.  But how is eating an already dead animal wrong? Choosing to either eat or not eat an already dead animal isn't going to make a difference.

key to understanding reality.

I poorly worded that. I know it sounds like I'm claiming that psychedelics will show you the meaning of life but that's not what I meant.
I should've said "Key to a better understanding of reality" or something to that effect.

Just an interesting video I'd like to share with you all.

A few very significant points that are made in this video:
1. The reason why psychedelics are illegal in the first place.
2. Why the psychedelic experience is so important and can help to create a wider view of reality.
3. Why an altered state of consciousness by using psychedelics, in the right setting is a good thing.

The whole video is pretty good, but this one excerpt by Graham Hancock really speaks volumes.

I think one of the most interesting philosophical implications made by psychonauts like Terence McKenna, is that hallucinogens like DMT, Mushrooms, and Peyote don't make you hallucinate at all--what you experience is actually real. It's the idea that psychedelics open a doorway to perceive other dimensions of reality which is normally filtered out by the sober mind--this is known as perception through the Third Eye. This comes from the fact that what is experienced in a DMT trip seems to come from literally nowhere and it goes outside of anything anyone has ever seen or experienced before, so the question is "where do these hallucinations come from?"  The theory is that they're coming from somewhere else, somewhere outside of one's own mind.

There's Mother's Day and Father's Day but why no Children's Day?
How about some appreciation for those that were unwillingly tossed into this depressing, unforgiving and unfair existence called human life.

I need to try an edible. I heard it can be quite a psychedelic experience, especially for me since I am very sensitive to weed, and all it takes is about 3 hits to knock me on my ass. I also have visual and auditory "hallucinations" just from smoking it.
