People probs do it for gits and shiggles mostly. if Cheat is gonna have rewards for the highest ranked members then I suppose he'll need to find a way to prevent it from happening a lot or drastically reduce the amount of weight it has on members.

Has abusing it ever been a problem yet? They would have to make multiple alts and have 25 posts on each alt in order to do that right?

Nothing too bad, though some peeps went on a downvote spree on Korra one day and she was repeatedly demoted again and again after each time I 'corrected' her rank. It stopped when everyone inclined to downvote her had used up their vote for the day.

The reason I upvoted her again each time was because it was clear that multiple people were downvoting her within a very short time period. I asked Cheat about it and he said that downvotes on high ranking members hold much more weight than normal and it wouldn't take very many people to demote someone. I told him about how she was repeately demoted within the span of maybe 45 minutes which seems rather odd, and he said he'd look into making trust less of a factor when it comes to ranks.
