The Flood / Re: i just wanna feel love
« on: June 26, 2016, 06:43:30 PM »
Conflicted over whether or not I should ever pursue romantic love.
Why wouldn't you?
Because I have so many personal issues to work out and I don't feel right subjecting someone else to my problems.

My mythic was taken from me due to inactivity. Even before B.next my interest in that site waned significantly.

Ah man, if you want to be able to kindle bonfires past 10 estus (up to 20) then I would suggest doing the catacombs to get to him. He's a pushover boss, really. One of the first that I take care of, usually. There's also a fair amount of loot on the way to him.

Spoiler
As long as you have Leeroy. Trying to fight Pinwheel at SL1 solo is a bitch.
Spoiler
I feel you. I never fight him SL1 though. I get the gravelord sword or black knight halberd first and then he's cake.

Really, there's not much to say.

I've always loved the idea of making a adventure-rpg style game full of secrets. I mean FULL of secrets. Secrets within secrets within secrets. And not just like easter eggs, but full blown side stories and immersive lore based secrets that reward the player for finding them. So many secrets, in fact, that at least 50% of the content in the game is hidden and has to be uncovered.

Of course it would still have your core main story/questlines etc. but the idea of stumbling upon some door that has to be unlocked or some hardly noticeable pathway, only to have it lead to an entirely new gigantic playable area which has even more locked doors and hidden paths within, new npcs, special items etc. makes me all giddy inside.

2201
However, if I could ask that you avoid talking too much about future events, that would be awesome. Part of the fun is not knowing what to expect, you know what I mean? So, unless I'm specifically asking for some information, I'd like to remain totally blind. It's not a big deal, but yeah. Thanks.
Word. I tried to make it apparent that it would be a good idea to kill him without revealing much. There's a lot more to that place than just a simple boss.

Should at least get the firekeeper soul in New Londo ruins before going to Anor Londo. It's not very far into it, just right where you first get to the flooded area turn right immediately, then turn right again and cross the narrow pathway submerged in the water. Probs will want to homeward bone out of there because the ghosts start swarming you.

The more estus you have when reaching Anor Londo, the better.
Yeah, I mentioned grabbing it, no worries.

Quote
I found another Fire Keeper Soul in this area. Very good. Getting it was kind of a bitch, though--it was sitting on this narrow strip of a platform submerged in the lake. Advancing towards it would spawn three ghosts--two in the front, one in the back, sandwiching you between them, forcing you to make a move quickly on this narrow fucking platform. Once again, Firebombs saved me a headache or two here.
Ye just saw.

Gaming / Re: Wait why would anybody buy a Scorpio

Just got into PC building and it's intimidating af for a newbie. Installing a new graphics card was a headache since my current PSU only has one fuckin' pcie connector and I was ignorant about alternate methods.

Someone people like high performance but are still turned off by having to build a PC. (also it's almost always more expensive, regardless.)
not when you start buying games
Well shit you have to buy games for either.
its not like i can get 10 AAA games on console for like ยฃ30
Steam sales aren't enough of a draw for the average casual gamer.

Insomnia is the result of some underlying health condition. Go have a physical, get tested for vitamin deficiencies, possibly even thyroid dysfunction.

Because fuck being considerate to people who are trying to make a better life for themselves.
How dare you travel outside of your comfort zone and attempt to make a living?
Really Deci, this is the most dickish I've ever seen you.

Why the fuck can't they make a living at their fucking country then? Not every European wants to come to this place, and clearly no regular old Canadian would like yourself.

I'm just fed up. We already have an immigration problem here. Orlando Florida just this past weekend is a perfect fucking example.

The guy from Orlando was born in the US you idiot.

I never said he wasn't.

Also.

5 minutes in I just confirmed that I rused all of you and you're still mad. Holy fuck and people say I take the site too seriously.
It's the fact that you take this site too seriously all the time that makes people inclined to believe you're being serious. That should be abundantly obvious.

That was the intention.
Really, why would you act surprised when people take you seriously? "Holy fuck" is generally a reaction to something unexpected.
