Major societies in humanity are too sensitive to conduct such mercy in such an event, political or governmental figures would be making vain attempts to survive and fail to retain order amongst the land... So naturally, when doom is upon us, our lack of discipline as a species will be the artifices of our own destruction (though crime) long before the scientific phenomenon kills most of our species.
I wouldn't be worried about it, since there is practically nothing we can do to escape such an event. Our space technology is too rudimentary; I would ultimately continue to live on life without acknowledging the fact that doom is upon me until the time came for me to pass. We all die eventually, and we all do not know when or where we will... So why live in fear only to die in regret of that fear?

I can do close-to-perfect visual, auditory, and sensory imaginative sessions. My only challenge is keeping the scale of the specific entities (such as the Sangheili in my halo imaginations) the same and keeping a line of thought consistent for a long period of time.
I am a heavy daydreamer, though... That may be the reason why.

Please read the title, and notice how much emphasis I put on the word "you". The reason for this was so that nobody would be stupid enough to say what others might dislike about me, or what others might like- and yet here you are, doing just that.
I'll rephrase,
The white triggers me. 
I don't care about you disliking a certain colour.
Yet that contradicts the purpose of this thread, does it not? Or are you only selective in the specific discomforts people may have with you? This was used to make a point, by the way. I could care less about your profile picture, but in order to be seen as a reasonable individual you need to be open to all aspects of the spectrum. That is something you need to work on.

Expet her idea of a safe space somehow involves mascaraing random colonists with antimatter shotguns for no obvious reason.

This is why we should of glassed Earth. To clarify the video. I wasn't bashing Halo 4; I did state that I enjoyed the fact that the game had the quality it had coming from a newer company. I also stated that I liked Spartan Ops and the antagonist, Jul 'Mdama. What I truly bashed was Halo 5 and its severe lack in creative element, supplemented by its crude spartan-fanservice feel. Either 343i lost its ability to write a good story, or microsoft rushed them to the point where the story is logical in a third grader's fantasy.
