Queen sized bed with two pillows and a blanket.

My cat prefers the bare matress so that's why I haven't put sheets on it.  I've grown to enjoy wrapping myself up into a comfort burrito every night.  I have a comforter set but it makes such a nice nightstand that I can't bring myself to unpackage it.

You may lay down in bed but your soul wants to sleep on the cold hard ground after knocking shit over in a psuedo drunken state?

It's time to come out of the closet, Loaf (and the house).  Embrace your homeless-sexuality.

All of my neighbors sent their kids to the rich neighborhoods and are hanging out together and smoking pot.

I offered the candy that me and my roommates were going to give out to them and now one of them is coming to cut our grass for free next week.

Halloween is pretty cool tbh fam

There was a 100-student walkout to protest his firing.  Spring Valley is one of my high school's biggest rivals so this whole thing hits a bit close.

Unless I Am Legend counts as zombies. That was a great film.

You can buy a lb of pasta, sauce and broccoli for $5.  That's good for four good meals.

I cook for myself and my roommates and I only end up spending around $60/mo. on groceries.

without them we'd have no government.
you literally just made a great argument against taxation
then who would regulate businesses and industries?
A free and armed populace.
but someone has to arbitrate the regulation. someone has to be in charge.
Dispute resolution organizations (DROs)

Serious / Re: What if Christianity hadn't risen to prominence?
« on: October 22, 2015, 08:28:46 AM »
Christianity was used to control the population. It's easier to enforce laws when eternal damnation is the punishment.

I imagine without Christianity (and instead a much less religious society) people would be more libertarian-minded. That or the state would replace religion (like it has today).

Serious / Re: Political Compass Test
« on: October 22, 2015, 08:25:10 AM »
The quadrant uses the libertarian-authoritarian scale, with the very bottom being absolute anarchy and the top being absolute authoritarianism (tyranny). The economic left-right scale is collectivism and individualism, respectively.

Some of the questions (such as the corporations vs greater humanity one) give the implication that I'd use force to bring about my outcome, when in reality I wouldn't do anything in either situation.  That goes for quite a few questions, especially the ones that ask if you'd favor legislation making x legal. Well, I don't think it should be illegal but I don't think a written law is necessary to decriminalize it.

What I'm trying to say is that I'd most likely be in the bottom right if I knew how to game the questions.

meh, 3d printers

besides, what the fuck are you gonna do against armored targets and flying death machines with your little ar-15? some fucking defense i bet you can put up against the government

turn in the guns already
The vast majority of U.S. military personnel are from southern states and hold strong conservative political beliefs. They aren't mindless drones, and you can be damn sure they wouldn't turn on U.S. citizens.

What's funny is that something like this is exactly what Democrats have been saying will not ever happen.

They're openly talking about stripping the populace of their 2nd Amendment rights and the left is acting like it's no big deal.

This is why the right won't compromise, because when they do the left takes it to the extreme.

If healthcare is a right and every doctor were to quit, would they be forced to work and help patients? Otherwise, healthcare isn't really a right, just a privilege.

But this means that wealth will flow more easily to less developed nations.  We can't have that.
