Giving me some idea of what I'll be going through in a few months hopefully, although it won't be so bad for me considering I need to update very very badly.
Unfortunately, I've never built nor looked much into building a PC before some I'll be a completely and total greenhorn when it comes to it. . .
If you are located in the US the $800-1000 is the best price point for a machine but you can get an adequate one for $400-600.

Well you called your setup a gaming rig, and yet the primary input device is way below par.
There aren't many good wireless keyboards and I use an Apple keyboard for gaming on my main rig. I hate mechanical switched and standard membrane keyboards have too large of keycaps for me to use them.

having an SSD changed my life, before I used to be cranky, stressed out and sexually frustrated however after getting an SSD I am now relaxed, chilled out and happy as ever.
I have Two SSDs in my main machine and will probably clone(Backup) one of them and put it in the build but I'm unsure yet.

Decent price for specs but it is an ACER and from personal experience my ACER laptop which was like $600 is shit and has shit hardware issues.
