Another idea that sounds like fun is, before even getting to fight the Elite 4, you'd have to beat eight gym leaders, just like in the games--perhaps the top eight players below the top four in this tournament?... But maybe not, because I wouldn't want to impose the responsibility on people to build a sharp team and constantly battle people on request <_< That wouldn't be very fun for them. I wouldn't necessarily just give the gym leader title to anyone who wants it, either, because there should be some way to qualify you, if not this tourney. I'm just tossing ideas around right now. If you have any good ones, speak up. Preferably in the home thread, though, 'cause... that's what it's for

What about the Champion?
The Champion won't be determined for now. When the Elite 4 is established (through this tourney), whoever beats them all in a row in the future will become the Champion, just like in the games. If they lose, they have to start over from where they began. But I sort of just came up with that idea on the spot a few days ago <.< So the main issue I see is, if someone on the Elite 4 wants to become the Champion, how would they go about doing that? It's not like you can fight yourself. Maybe for them, since they're already Elite 4, they just have the special privilege of only needing to fight three to become Champion, and then we could have a mini-tourney to decide who will fill in their spot if they succeed... I would say, for the sake of the Elite 4 not having constant challenges... only one person may take the Elite 4 challenge per week on a first-come-first-serve basis. Anyone who no longer wishes to be part of the Elite 4 can choose to step down and have their spot filled in accordingly. Perhaps you have some better ideas? I mean, the ultimate goal is to just have fun with this. The titles don't have to be too official or too complicated. I don't want this to become your new job, or anything.
